just got my lumia 800 yesterday. came from android.

wanted to get 920 but too expensive, so just settle with this phone.

could anyone tell me the average battery life for this phone? i was expecting more, but not sure if it's the phone itself or what.

after full charge, it became 70% after 1 hour with app dl, surfing, data connection on etc.. is this normal?

btw, my firmware is .12070.

i already factory reset my phone and change to new Live ID. now can download the Bluetooth Share, but can't download the Ringtone Maker.

..yea finally i got it.... dunno its a coincidence or not, but in the last few days, after countless tryout using generic cable, today i brought in the original cable provided in the box, ..and puffff..once i plug in, update 7.10.8779.8 just came in effortlessly...first update done in about 17minutes

..give it a try for about one hour, plug in again, and after 3/4 disconnecting trick, second update, 7.10.8783.12,  came in, and done in about 16/17 minutes

..had lunch break, then plug in again, 3/4 tries then 7.10.8858.136 update pops up...this one took about 34 minutes..

..so now barely just one hour with 7.8, no lagging, a bit snazzy fast in scrolling and launching apps

wanted a gps phone without wifi or 3g connection. so l800 is a good option? what settings??

my tips on force update.

1. it consists of 3 update.
2. 1st and 2nd update no new tiles. 3rd one u will see whole new tile.
3. be patient. try and error on disconnecting the internet. turn off all internet activity on your phone 1st.
4. flight mode helps me on my 3rd update.
