Lolz, just saw this thread. MTG ... still going strong eh? the community continues to just shrink and grow, it's amazing.
Anyway I was playing, mostly casual ... Didn't really like winning with the same cards all tourney players use lolz. Actually quit quite a while ago but game back because of 'UNHINGED' ! lolz or Unglued II Anyone else playing Unglued? |

Yikes. I didnt play for so long.(I stop buying packs after Darksteel)
Miss so many expansions..OMG,i even missed Unglued II. When was it released anyway? Can i still get it in the shop? By the way, i was trying to build a casual deck based on Iscochron Scepter. (That 2 mana artifact which let you to imprint and copy spell) Can it work with Orim's Chant with Kicker cost? Orim's Chant (W)- Instant Creatures can't attack you this turn. Kicker-(W), If you pay the kicker cost, target player can't cast any spells this turn. If this really works, i can really get Timewalk every turn Or make things worse for opponent, add 3 Blinding Angels in the deck. |

lava spike and desperate ritual i can give for free, but any1 wan it hav to go FNM site meet me, and don misunderstood, i dun hav unlimited stock, maybe will have couples of extras (around 5-6) to give away only...
Goblinsk8er - the combo u saying is a very popular combo played at pro level tournament. besides orim's chant, they hav other target to imprint as well, fire/ice, counterspell, boomerang, etc.... this deck is japanese's favourite edit: 7chai, watery grave goes for RM60, or trade wih any guildpact dual lands This post has been edited by cdwk2383: Jan 23 2006, 02:50 PM |

Oh yeah, i just googled for the deck you mentioned..
Wow, i didnt know it was THAT popular..Hmm, can't blame also. I didn't surf any MTG sites for almost 1 year. BTW, Whats the price of packs now? I can't catch up with the expansions already after they raise it to RM12 per pack last year. Used to buy damn lot of packs per week..(almost 8-10 packs per week) Sigh, that was before Uni started....Now, stay in hostel damn sad. Need to pay rent and food. I missed the Tempest Exodus days...During those n00b days, i was dumb enough to trade away my Recurring Nightmare with 4 Rootbreaker Wurms. LOL, who can resist a 6/6 trample with no drawback (when i started with a stompy deck) |

QUOTE By the way, i was trying to build a casual deck based on Iscochron Scepter. (That 2 mana artifact which let you to imprint and copy spell) yes it works just fine. In fact, there is a competitive version of the deck in Extended format. try looking it up. I think the name of the deck is No-Stick deck... Can it work with Orim's Chant with Kicker cost? guildpact surely has numbers of deadly creature. i guess this is why they decided to put a fairly high casting cost on this freaking nasty creature. One of the best direct damage creature available, hehehe

actually, Hammerfist Giant is marginally better, except that he kills himself in the process as well... (living inferno does it too
except u give the Giant at least a +0/+1 and he's already to go. Or combo him with Ghosts of the Innocent (which happens to be another cheap rare). Or just give him protection from Red. |

its playable if u have enough mana fixers (signets, dual lands, return lands, sakura tribe elders, kodama reaches), and if u have enough creatures to fully utilise his ability. Gruuls are extremely creature-based and is all about rushing... except the problem is how Wrath of God, Final Judgement, etc running around. Killer Instinct is, IMHO, gonna be the next sought-after card for Guildpact.
