but then,i already put all the .md5 included the bootloader.now i canot flash to gb rom bcoz android has stopped working..wat i need to do?got to recovery mode and wipe data/factory setting? or wipe cache partition?

perhaps you can try to flash to prerooted GB rom using pc odin and do a wipe data and cache in recovery mode (GB rom only).

it depends very much which rom are you using. If stock ROM, hold the button of the S Pen and touch it for a while on the screen.

Hmm... wired i have my Juice Defender on all the time but maybe i also have CPU Tunner as well that make my battery last longer...

Guys wanna ask is there any apps that can automatically manage your connection like disabling your 3G for certain time period? Says when you are sleeping?

I used to use Toggle 2g which automatically changes to 2g after your phone screen off for a pre defined period of time and switched back to 3G when screen on or unlock... But it has to be signed and "stitched" to the rom...i wonder if it will work for ICS... it really helped with the battery life... must do some reading later...

Do you use a particular app or it is there in the settings?

It appears as an app with notification, and is not integrated in settings...

First you need to have the intended ROM you want to flash or are using, use the included JAVA applet to resign and inject the apk into the ROM, then flash or reflash and it will appear as an APP in you drawer...then just do the setting based on what you want eg, duration screen off before switch to 2g, 2g when batt reach a certain threshold...

will update later if i am successful...probably by tonite...

hey people want to ask..

if the phone on ics taiwan, and after that it tried to upgrade using kies software to ics malaysia. But because of that now the phone comes with error d.

firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in kies and try again..

any solution to this?

Hi All,

Just to share my experience upgrade from GB to ICS.

1. Backup your data and system by using TitaniumBackup just for incase

2. Connect your Note to computer, upgrade your Samsung Kies

3. Follow instructions and upgrade

4. Reboot, all done.

FAQ :

1. Your existing root will maintain

2. All your existing apps working as per normal

3. All your data include SMS, photos etc.. will be maintain.

It works fine previously.No idea wat happen now
