it really depends on ure ambient temperature and ure air room ventilation.
mine i need to use 6 fans just to get 26C from 31C for my tank in my crampy room,
but my other tank in the hall, dont need to use anything also already 26-28C

hurm, maybe next time, nowadays, i just use aircond, easier and hassle free since i can cool down 3 of my tanks in my room all at once.
btw, you are using AC fan type? Not DC?

The tank sleep wit u ? I use ac fan cheap only one only rm 50

kinda, they helps me to fall asleep in peace relatively easy, also soothes my mind during stressed hours..(even though my scape still a newbie, syiok sendiri effect)
the fan you use comes with its adapter/regulator?

your tank in your room... wow... relax and enjoy the tank before sleep... aircond 2 in 1... cooling your tank while cooling your room...

But tank in room is nop that good,,,

in ur room is no ventilation , if u go to another room, u will feel the air is different from ur room , no matter how clean is ur tank n water , it still have a smell

true +999 thats why i plant golden pothos ivy near my tanks, put some air perfume spray, and on my ionizer 24 hours using fan and aircond.
but still wont get rid 100%

and that's why ambi pur is my roomate ...IME, there is one time that my room had weird smell. which came from ocean free algae "o" treatment.
even my housemate did say no smell from my room. i usually open my window during daytime.

Yes, plants night time they eat oxygen, nop like daytime they eat C02

wow flipmode, your room is big, everything look smaller with 3 tank and 4 big mineral bottle in there.

no la..small room only. my room got ventilation. there is air ventilation on top of the window. plus my room have toilet, which have small window. that's why my room less smell. i think. maybe i can try to hang active carbon.

Buy few big big batu arang, can use as decor also

personal experience: rely too much on anti chlorine also not good. plants will melt/die. best thing to do is just use aged water. take tap water put in bucket and leave it overnight for chlorine to evaporate and shud be good to use already.

Added on August 3, 2012, 1:34 ami just DIY my fan. cabut 6cm fan from pc, potong last time streamyx billion modem punya adaptor, connect together. voila! used to be 29-31 but now is 25-26C. but that 1 is nano tank. big tank never try b4. XD

Just get normal ac fan, easy, I been use it for few years d, 3ft temp also 24.5-25,5. With light on, fan size is 120mmx120mm, if u want I can help u. Buy
