the key is, study first. jgn gopoh gapah buat. ikut tertib. baru sonok. betul x abg flipmode? hehehe.

not all get the knowledge as you. if high tech guy facing hair algae, they surely use chemical to solve the problem.

but i bet, not you as you know what to tackle from your previous experience.

hehehe.

chemical, is ruining your ecosystem there. so, better not using. we in planted tank for natural environment what? so, don't support chemical treatment yo. heheheh

just my point of view. hehe

natural goodness ha? hehehe tongue.gif

activated carbon will only be useful for the 1st 2month..
after that, you need to take out the carbon as it will absorb all the good nutrition needed by the plants..

btw, welcome to the club

Thanks bro, it is good to know things i wrote helping newbies smile.gif
normal filter water only filter out dirt. you need anti-chlorine.
only RO water is 99.9% clean water, with MINIMAL chemical substance. you dont need anti-chlorine but you need liquid ferts. lol.
*
i mean the filter with 6 filteration catridge, connect at tap, is it Reverse Osmosis?... not the filter with single catridge....

using aged water is better.
but you have to plan your WC schedules.
if you use filtered water, as per weijie said, you need liquid fert as all the good nutrition already been filtered.
*
you mean aged tap water or aged filtered/RO water? how Rain water?

got a few questions, anyone knows where can i convert my nitrogen tank into a CO2 tank? where should i sent it to?
currently there still a lot of compressed nitrogen in my tank, but i want to convert it for scaping purposes.
do i need to change the regulator valve too? how about the price?

*
Possible ar? Sound complicated

actually, i am using the hood cover. but like kimi said, it has very limited space to fit the required lights and the heat from the lights will heat up the tank. I managed to squeeze 2 x T8 FL in there... hehe...  I intend to remove it and add on the LED lights when i get them smile.gif

I put it there to keep my fishes from jumping out. they are freaked quite easily when people go close to them...

for sisaiko's tank, is that a heater bar on the right side of tank??!  shocking.gif
*
mind to share with me the pic?
