stainless steel better than plastic ones (IMHO) since they can be molded into desired shape and will maintain it while plastic will just return to its original existing condition.

max size only 1", suitable for my nano tank.
others than this and neon tetra, whats other fauna that has max size of 1"???
now putting zebra danios, cherry barb and red eyes tetra. quite big for a nano tank..

whats the filter for?? breeding??
hmm.gif
try red chili rasbora, theyre in season right now, nice dark red colours and limited seasonal fish !! sazuka got a few i guess..

filteR? well, its for filtration purposes, el-natural way to filter excess nutrients

ic... thz... so i can start buying the tank 1st...
Any recommend place that i can get everything together ?
I was hoping to find those plastic tank with round edge...
mate, dont buy those plastic one mon, really gonna regret it later on.
if you dont have enough money to start, start saving bit by bit.
if hands still itchy to get into planted hobby but not enough budget(like me doh.gif sweat.gif ),
go with low tech planted tank, but it wont look so nice compared to those sifus tank here.

got bored the past few hours, so went to hardware shop before it closes,
and bought a few stuffs to make another DIY project to kill boredom.
it took longer than i expected and probably tomorrow night will need to modify abit the design and measurement
to suit my taste and this weekend probably will start to paint it yawn.gif .

got a few questions, anyone knows where can i convert my nitrogen tank into a CO2 tank? where should i sent it to?
currently there still a lot of compressed nitrogen in my tank, but i want to convert it for scaping purposes.
do i need to change the regulator valve too? how about the price?

my water is really cloudy now... =_=
does it have to be that way before cycle complete?
partial waterchange every 3-4days, or you can use WIWO method during setup of ure tank or during partial waterchange, really help reducing the cloudiness.
purigen also helps, but its kinda expensive here...but it will help in the long run

gila kentang... new tank hehe brows.gif
the first best thing about planted tanks for me, is the time for scaping/rescaping a new or old tank.. damn syiok!!
but after that, its the time for pure patience, one of the first boring things you will get as a planted tank hobbyist rolleyes.gif
