No, only applies when you wanna close apps. If multitask, then use home button It won't wear off so fast like iPhone's I suppose, so far Galaxy S series home buttons quite good This post has been edited by ken2291: May 24 2012, 10:01 AM

You use the home button when you want to multi task, the back button is when you want to close apps. Don't worry, the S series's home buttons don't wear of fast like the iphone, mainly cause you don't need to press it as often haha.

it should be nationwide. not only carriers.. that's what i think. i read that samsung malaysia normally launches new handsets on a Friday. so it should be 1st of June next friday, but i really hope that it would be coming earlier as i am leaving msia for 1 month next week

QUOTE(ken2291 @ May 24 2012, 09:48 AM) That only applies to some SGS released back then where users were unable to enter download mode, but XDA developers were still able to find a workaround. No such problem for SII after that and there won't be for SIII too as Samsung won't lock its bootloader. Just check for download mode before buying OK, thanks. So then, how to check SGS3 download mode or recovery mode? Same method?
