RM88x12 = RM1056
phone price = RM1778
total = RM2,834 with value of RM50 call/sms + 1gb data per month..
roughly you pay RM236 per month only
isn't it quite affordable consider you only tight with 12month contract and u can sell s3 and eyeing for another s4 after a year.

im currently with digi68 but sometimes my billing suprise me with a  , would seriously consider this offer if it is good.. furthermore celcom's line better in my hometown..

it actually depends very much on whether your call+sms is a lot.  DiGi Smartplan is more suitable for those user who uses less call+sms.  My DiGi bill only RM80+ including the RM68 Smartplan.  So it is a no brainer for me to sign up DiGi.  Moreover, can get H-speed at both my home and office, so good enough for me. 

But for users with lots of call+sms, it may not be the best.

no in fact if you call more than RM50, the RM68 commitment is discounted by 50%, and if you call more than RM100, RM68 is completely waive.. i'm not sure about whether it is RM50/RM100, but they do have discount scheme like something above, and it is not a bad choice if you call many, it's just that over at my place always get gprs only.

and btw.. wuts the penalty for early termination of contract ?

If you buy the phone separately, your monthly commitment for this plan is just RM50, right? That means you save RM38 per month. For 12 months the saving is:

RM38x12 = RM456

s3 with 4.7 inch screen is so big already, and now you want to carry 2 phones as you will have another maxis phone to carry...wah??

yes, if it is your second phone for receive call and surf, then i think no one can match its price.  Of course, network coverage is the other factor you need to consider.

but, just curious, since you are getting a second phone for surf, why no get the Note instead?  It is much much much better for browsing or can even consider the Tab 7.7.

RM 500  u paid, is advanced payment ,meaning to say ,u no need to pay ur phone bill, until u finish up the.RM 500...

RM 1149 is phone itself ....why do u want to know the.penalty fee, before buy? Get 12months contract,if you worry ...its like asking ppl how much u can sell ur car after 10yrs,before buying it.........

Is the RM999 Digi plan only for online registration? Will the price be increased if I do not sign up for this deal?

Why do they upgrade the LTE thing but not widen their coverage.
