QUOTE(zeone @ Jun 1 2012, 01:29 PM) No news in public yet... I think BLM famous problem should be IAFM noise, but it occur for those <2009 BLM, after that less complain adi. For FL, the main problem should be headlamp enter water, this din happen in BLM. For IAFM in FL, since FL launch until now is just 1 year+, plus FL sales compare to BLM is alot lower (simply refer to 1st page proud owner of Saga u will know), so not fair to compare in this way. For FLX of course the major drum break problem and overheat CVT (also in 1st batch). Other such as door, dashboard, window rattling plague all gen of new Saga. Thats why i won't say FL is the most reliable/less complain gen.But mayb storm clouds oledi started brewing internally? Workforce knew abt it...rumours aplenty? Every1 got affected...? Normal, rite? ps. Still juz 4discussion only... Added on June 1, 2012, 1:34 pm BLM? Yup, lots of probs...no doubt abt dat! However oledi kinda petered out when FLs were released. Correct? Then came along FLXs. With new new probs...more than the usual kind? ps. Still...still juz 4discussion... Added on June 1, 2012, 1:38 pm Not hear IAFM complaints in FLs...at least in here? Probably true that that prob nvr really went away to a certain extent... Prabably reason why IAFM+ was in FLXs... This post has been edited by coolkwc: Jun 1 2012, 02:20 PM |

At least not the Proton's famous power window failure...you know what,, that failure adi become a slogan for those who anti Proton...I think Proton still needs many years to prove to ppl their power window is reliable now.

QUOTE(mysoo @ Jun 2 2012, 03:42 AM) For my FL, i don't really fell any jerking when the aircond compressor kick in, more like a slight insignificant vibrate. You won't feel the jerking in auto Saga, simply becos of 'clutch slip' in torque converter, in other words, it absorbed by the inefficient torque converter. For the steering wheel, I don't think it's heavy, but rather quite suitable for the car size and weight. Too light is dangerous when the car speed increases. FYI I also own a City 2009. When the compressor kick in, u may not hear it while inside the car. But believe it's noticeable outside. No vibration or jerking coz the car is heavier, I think. Also City steering wheel is just slightly lighter which is suitable for it's heavier weight. Compare a 1.3 with another 1.3 car, you find out saga isn't really that bad. Added on June 2, 2012, 2:03 pm QUOTE(dares @ Jun 2 2012, 01:55 PM) My new HU Lol, very creative there... [attachmentid=2871778] Music - check ! Video - check ! handsfree phone call using car's speakers - check ! GPS - check ! (not installed yet, using google maps) It is portable, and if I grew tired of it, I can easily change it Downside is, it is farking ugly and there's the occasional interference when changing cel towers and making calls. QUOTE(redshark_999 @ Jun 2 2012, 10:55 PM) 1. cvt U read wrongly la, impossible 130 still 2.5k...2. manual also got rear drum brake problem, its not a must, there is only a chance. fyi, my 1.3 flx cvt got no problem as of now, right nw is already 3 months plus of daily driving. just the rear left door cant shut properly, quite common cause i see a few others facing it too. i just go back to the Sc and ask the change the piece of rubber. no major problems. 3. add 2k, worth it for a cvt gb, NO? if add 2k for a 4AT, i rather stick to manual Added on June 2, 2012, 10:56 pm i last check is like that, cause was speeding at straight road, i will go check back again, mine is just a 1.3. haha =) |

QUOTE(gogoman86 @ Jun 4 2012, 12:48 PM) mine 180kmph @ 4,800 RPM (still can go up to 5,500 RPM, maybe 190kmph but rather not, i know our Saga limit Dyno run prove nothing about top speed, because some portion of engine power is use to overcome wind drag on road during high speed.i didn't refer to booklet since bought the car mine back door, left side rubber keep coming out. doesn't know can we claim for warranty? if yes, which SC is recommended? Added on June 4, 2012, 12:49 pm my FLX 1.3 has tested, top speed 185kmph but still increasing, haven't know the max yet anyone willing to send their 1.3 FLX for hydro run? Added on June 4, 2012, 1:29 pm QUOTE(GP mad man @ Jun 4 2012, 01:26 PM) i know the speed stil can increase... Engine life span will not harm so much by this driving, only ur own life span is greatly influenced. but only worry the engine life span... i driving from gombak tol until bentong tunnel at 120-160... cornering shift 3rd gear, at the middle part start accelerate and shift gear. overtook alot bigger auto car but tat was few months ago after i wasted almost RM30 petrol just for tis short moment excitement. now already changed, "slow down" for life and petrol money This post has been edited by coolkwc: Jun 4 2012, 01:29 PM |

QUOTE(gogoman86 @ Jun 5 2012, 10:27 AM) i put comfort to my priority, if that BLM spring really could give comfort, soft like Persona feel, then i might think to change it... i don't mind to slow down on cornering Even if compare to VIOS, my BLM spring is stiffer than VIOS. anyone here changed their absorber to 3rd party brand? any better feel like softer, comfortable? |
