They should start to offer air steward and stewardess RM3k.
Pilot RM5k. Tak suka, can see the door.

I bet AirAsia won't be able to absorb so many staff suddenly as well right?

Like this jao cut down many many HR cost liau...

Don't forget Lion Air (the group which own 49% stake in Malindo). It has ordered lots of planes.

Airbus's latest forecast is that air traffic will grow 4.7% annually over the next 20 years. Boeing predicts 5% annual growth. That translates into a demand for between 29,220 and 35,280 new aircraft.

It means, according to a report by Boeing, that about 498,000 new commercial airline pilots will be needed over the next two decades.

If like that, most will just leave for better pastures in other airlines (both local or overseas), switch to other carriers which pays better, or start thier own biz. Then MAS will become like KL bus operations, only got 1 pilot and no cabin staff.

Talk is easy. MAS has very strong union. I don't think you can touch them. biggrin.gif

i agree with you, thats why the share swap with AA went down the drain. besides the union, political view has to be considered as well. BN always wanna take back selangor, so they need those MAS staff to vote them smile.gif so if u goreng them, u think they will vote for you?
