You can tank with these in A3 Inferno?

Both have the same attributes.

First of all, you need high AR and HP to do that. Otherwise, you're down after 5-6 hits.
Secondly, you need very high LOH and life regen. You can see the regen when it starts whirlwind. It doesn't require revenge for life regen.
Thirdly, you need high DPS to take down the crowd in few blows. To cause enough damage with sprint - run like the wind, you need high DPS.

It is easy to achieve this, provided you have enough bling-bling.
You need at least 500m D3 gold for that.
1H weapon with high DPS + crit dmg + LOH + socket can easily cost 100m per piece. You need 2 as it requires dual-wield.
Rings and amulet with LOH cost another 100m (assuming 30-35m each).

Those crappy 800dps rare weapons with socket cost 5-6m now.

I think Barbs love dual-wield.

I think for 2 hander, you need 1200++ DPS.

It's 10% crit chance on the axe.

He can claim what he want.

You can do some testing too.
Use 1M to buy the best gear you can get and start dual-wield in A2 inferno.

Any tip to kill the Ghom??

The fat Ghom killed my Barb with his poisonous fart.
My Barb was killed almost instantly after smelling his poisonous fart.
There is little chance for melee.

I have got 1200AR/10K armor/43K HP.

I died 30-40 times today. I almost lost my 2 rings.
I died 30-40 times yesterday in co-op game with forum member, cowithgun, a Monk.
A monk could survive longer with healing skill. The poor barb has no healing skill.

My Barb was killed when he's "jogging" in the dungeon... my poor barb was killed by an airborne poison.
The Ghom didn't even "touch" me.

When did he buy those gears?
If he bought it 5-6 weeks ago, he might have a chance to get good gears at cheap rate.

For good order sake, get him to show us the gear he has. We can tell how much those gears worth.
I wonder what kind of gears he has in order to have such kind of HP regen.

Please share your skill setting. Similar like what currylaksa mentioned?

Not only elites you'll have problem with, I bet you have problem with imps too.
You have pretty low DPS. You will need many hits to kill the mobs.
However, with pretty good LOH, you will survive a little longer.

You will need to increase your DPS, crit% and crit dmg are the ways.
Increase your AR and HP to 1100-1200 (after WC) and 40K+ respectively.
Change your skill, use WoTB + EQ (chilling earth) do help in killing elites. I even combo these with Call of the Ancients if necessary.

No time to test it. Kinda busy with work today.
Will only reach home 11pm tonight.

This thing works. Killed the farting Ghom like a boss.

Hell mode?

Those gems cost you at least 20 millions?

I think you opt for the built with shield (otherwise there is no reason to get HOC to have that 8% additional block rate).
You build something like duckhole's.

As for Phonzy, he's building a dual-wield Barb.
It makes sense to have incredibly high damage with crit % & crit dmg.
IMO, it would be perfect if Phonzy can boost up the LOH.
P/S I find his AR & armor are too low.

By the way, can you survive in A3 Machine of War & Siegebreaker with your dual-wield built, where you'll be likely surrounded by monsters, mobs and elites? This is especially you have to sacrifice AR & armor. Besides, you do not have high LOH and life regen.
