Next patch, Inferno penalty for lifesteal % also applies to LOH. LOH will only return 20% in Inferno.

Monk could be a better tank than Barb because monk has many healing skills.
The longer you stay in the game, the better tanker you are.

Finally beat Diablo Inferno, with the help of cowithgun. Many thanks to cowithgun.
Barb loves Monk. We didn't kite a lot. We could do melee just fine.

I was killed by Diablo more than 30 times before this, with the combo of WZ and WD.
It seems Monk-Barb combo is still the best.

GOoood job, i'm still stuck at ACT 1.. long time.. no money to upgrade..

but what dps can a monk do compared to barb ? i know alex does 200k as a semi tank (very effectively i might add), but i haven't seen anything similar from a monk yet

I think it is not normal to see meelee class heroes to have more than 100K DPS.
I mean, for a monk or barb to have more than 100K DPS, you need very good weapon and armor.
And those would cost a lot. Of course, it would not be an issue if you have money to spend.
Ada wang, ada gears.

Based on my experience, you don't need such high DPS to beat Diablo/A3/A4.
I reckon 30K+ DPS would be just nice.

In many co-op games, I found Monk does help Barb stay longer in the game.
The Mantra of Healing (Time of Need) is a sweet thing when it comes to melee.
Breath of Heaven / Serenity / Inner Santuary could help monk stay longer too.
Of course, war cry of Barb does help other class of heroes.
Monk and Barb are perfect combo when it comes to melee. If you need tankers, just get a Monk-Barb combo.

although sold already, thank you for your offer alex, but after some price research, seems i need to collect abit more gold to purchase storm sheild similar to your sheild stats (ur stats are very nice btw...)

reckon need to pocket at least 20-30 mill more for few more EQs...unless i get lucky since 1.03b the drop quality is a bit better now...

Both my WD and Barb in act 2 inferno now.

For barb, how does the ignore pain skills help? After I cast and jump to the elite (iron impact), the Hp still reduce so fast. Did I use it wrongly?

Btw , barb armour: 6.9k and all resist 400++
Dps : 25k. Hp: 32k
All this is before buff.
Is it my AR too low for barb?

Means that the skill ignore pain doesn't help if the AR and armour is low?

I'm in act 3 with 800 - 900 AR and 8.5k armour after buff. My damage and hp is quite low tho... 15k dps and 29k hp. I'm like paper in act 3, got ripped to shreds lol
