You can have 100k hp but if you have less resistance you still get 2-3 shotted.

how does damage reduction from armor and resistance works actually?
both reduces damage taken. which one kicks in first? both at same time?

damn all playing inferno now, im still stuck at nightmare  anyone feels like doing something good can donate me some armor/weapon for a low level 36 like me

say i'm at
5k armor 700 all resist
so that means ... about 12% dmg get
if i pump all resist up ... say 5k armor 1000 all resisit ...
9.258% dmg get ... dafuq?
but if i pump armor up ...
say 10k armor 700 all resist ...
7.434% dmg get ... !!!
right ... for act2, i need to swap out deadly reach dmg rune for +50% armor rune and conviction mantra for evasion mantra + armor rune i guess
