we'll need to view KD in 2 different lights

The pre-Souness era KD and the post-FSG Kenny.

Yes they are the same, but if we view KD as the one in pre-Souness era, nothing, and nothing can remove his charm and aura as a legend for LFC.

He still is and still will be. Let's not make him walk alone.

YNWA.

apparently ure not happy with others opinion as well.

lets see how long YOU support the new man before calling for his head
*
some people wants FSG to behave like Roman.

Eff the FFP, eff the HG rules

and spend like how Barca and Real, or City would.

Then only probably they are happy.

For some reason I hope the Academy trio of Seguro, and co won't get the sack.

has anybody seen this?

sounds like Ayre's doing some serious damage control here by keeping emphasizing 'on the present, on the future', and 'the Liverpool way'.

Roy "Part 1" happened because Roy turned his back on the club, publicly humiliated our own players, supporting a rival manager, and praising that a defeat to Everton is "yeah i found our team exciting".

Steve Kean is that way. Similarities.

QUOTE(Rotuham @ May 18 2012, 12:49 AM)
If the owners didn't listen to majority of fans when they sacked kenny, why would they listen to the fans to bring back rafa.

Factors to consider about rafa:

1) Rafa has taken a break for more than one year.If there is a better time to come back then it has to be now.
Mourinho took a break for about one year and it turned out very well for him after that.
It's now or never for rafa before he becomes outdated.

2)He has extensive knowledge about spanish players. That will be very good considering majority of the spanish players brought here have been successful. What better pool of talent is there other than spain?

3)How much are FSG willing to back rafa?Do they give money whenever he asks for it?Will they appoint him knowing that there will be backlash from fans when they sack him if things go wrong?

4) Will he command the respect of gerrard and carragher after their alleged role in his sacking?
If it's true that some our star players want out,i am very sure rafa will ensure that won't happen considering he was the one who brought reina, agger, skrtel, lucas, johnson as well as work with fellow spaniard enrique.

5)Can he continue the attacking performances under rafa or will he revert to his lone striker and two CDM formation?
The Kop demands attacking football as shown under kenny.
*
ironically you did point out kenny himself as clueless in tactics, and besides the pass and move, how was he doing an attacking football?

QUOTE(Rotuham @ May 18 2012, 01:17 AM)
Kenny never had a game plan like rafa did.Two defensive midfielders protecting the back 4.All play goes toward supplying the lone striker with the ball.

Under kenny, everyone could move about.Sometimes you can find carroll as the last defender and sometimes you can see skrtel dribbling on the right wing.Under rafa there never was such thing.Everyone were rigid in their positions.
The interchanging game under kenny was good when everyone was on the same wavelength but when things don't go our away, the players will look clueless and all over the place.
There is a fine line between versatility/moving about and all over the place.

Real under mourinho play attacking football. However when they play barca mourinho deploys defensive tactics to counter barca.Kenny wouldn't do those stuff. He tells the players to ''keep doing what we have been doing.''
That suggests he has no different approach to different opponents. He had no plan B in case things were going wrong.

Kenny's idea was there which was to pass and move but just not quite the players to execute.Tactics also involve the players that you deploy. He bought poor players to implement his ideas. As a result, his pass and move couldn't bear fruits and our results suffered.

In short, the idea was there but the execution failed miserably.
*
And that's where Steve Clarke comes in as part of the team. AFAIK, the few people that KD brought in was Clarke and Keen. And was there anyone else? No. But he could, but he didn't. How he found Clarke is something I'm interested to know.

I doubt that KD hasn't got a plan. If its tactical prowess he's proven that he could change shape, as he's always played according to the shape that the opposition plays. Only that he insists on blooding the youngsters, and despite it probably being the bad choice, I can still understand why.

Had all the balls went into the net instead of hitting the woodwork, I still doubt you'll want him, so yeah there you have it KD is out.

At first, KD knew he had to sort out the defense, and the defense he got it sorted out. In fact, our fullbacks have been very well utilized. Slow as KD may be in stamping his style, but he got that right and we all would have been more than happy to see what he can do for the mid / attacking front in training this season.

But only 1 season. And he's already out.

Absolute tripe. Why would i want him out if those goals had went in?Surely we would have been in a better position and better results. You are emotionally distraught that you are antagonising anything and anyone against kenny.

The results matter end of the day and had he finished 4th or even close to it he would have my backing and i am sure FSG's too.

Someone just started a thread there ''Make Stevie Manager''  sweat.gif

well if i'm antagonizing against 'anti-kd', at least i'm making it known. I still think its peeps like you that made KD got the sack when he's ought to have 1 more season to go.

2 cup finals, 1 cup, re-entering Europa.

If that ain't result i don't know what is.

add on:

and we did it without a proper 1st team goalkeeping coach, and we've still got 3rd best joint defense and 1st best "lowest shot against" (132 total, averaging of 3+ shots per game if there are 38 games, although we lost 14) and that isn't a record, it still has to be something.

Well if you have it you can pass it. I know a group of people more than happy to have them. The group Spirit of Shankly would love to have it, and I won't mind them having it if one ever falls into my hands.

By the way, i just thought of buying the new jersey, then it struck me:

Where the hell is the "You'll Never Walk Alone" tag? Why is it removed off the crest?

Well the "i want KD out" brigade won. Now will they support the new manager, if its Martinez?

I may speak too soon, but KD > Martinez, anytime, any day.

@madmoz: apparently 1 message got through, 43 minutes ago.

it sounded "Not exactly too pleased with you guys having a go at Kenny Dalglish earlier today. He's much bigger and better a person than anyone of us." written by Amos Yong.

Added on May 18, 2012, 10:10 amand where are those ABK (asal bukan Kenny / anyone but kenny) brigade?
