You should know the difference between giving a person a chance and giving them a second chance to correct things.I don't know if you were here but i have given the reasons many times as to why i don't want to for kenny.

People on here are already whacking martinez left and right even before he has been given a chance.Kenny had his chance and failed. Can you deny that he didn't fail?

What martinez does depends on him.If he buys shit players and employs poor tactics like dalglish did then history will repeat itself.

says the dumbass who thinks i influenced john henry to sack kenny

Likewise, so said the even bigger of a fool to. Believe in his own spin of fantasy-owner-wannabe.

Stranger things have happened. Even Guillem Balague said it himself, two weeks prior and two weeks later of what he said would have happened.

Roman Abramovich is ready to offer Roberto Di Matteo the Chelsea manager's job on a full-time basis as reward for guiding the club to Champions League glory, ESPN understands.

Unrelated to us but nice to know he has been rewarded for what he was able to achieve, only time will tell if he will be given time and patience.
*
Just to humour you, if I may. A certain Paul Dalglish tweeted this,:

99% of stats are made up to stand a point. Liverpool won their first trophy in 6 years under an ex-manager and Chelsea won their first UCL under a caretaker manager.

The question posted before was this:

How many clubs have successes via employing ex-manager or caretaker? 99% failure rate. Move on.

The idea: 1st cup in 6 years isn't success, what is?

Again, I reiterate the fantasy-manager-owner-wannabe. Faithful fool I can be, but no more foolish than you who think any big time manager would just want to grab the manager position by and after sacking KD. Now we're still 'searching' for the right man. Me foolish? Sure. But living in a fantasy world? You are one. First you call for KD's head and expect everyone to follow suit. Now call for every one for YNWA when you don't even back the same man.

You can call any others less consistent than you,but at the very least I dare say your YNWA is just a hypocritical bullshit. And for somebody who claims he's done with me, you certainly got a lot of issues unattended. So,, where's your YNWA, your consistency in being done with? Bollocks.

Well, Pep has said he wants a sabbatical. I still hold on true to Guillem Balague's words that Pep is going off on months long holiday.

However, assuming that Pep has to choose between only Chelsea and Liverpool, its a 50-50. This is only assuming if Pep has to choose between the two. Here is why:

Investment in players: Chelsea. (Their 50m prize money now effectively paid off, so they can definitely purchase another 50m or more. I doubt FSG will allow any acumulatives of more than 50m)

Training facilities: 50-50,. But i am more inclined to say Chelsea due to the fact that they more varieties in their sports department.

Backroom staff: Liverpool. (We already have some very highly rated La Masia personnel. We also have a high number of Spanish inclined backroom staff, even though our health dept is literally overrun by Aussies. And since the core of our academia's philosophy involves playing on a 1-4-2-3-1 formation, granted it should work with Pep's 'false nine' formation.

Supporters: Liverpool. (Our legendary 12th man effect. Even our travelling Kopites are one of the loudest bunch. 3000 kopites outsang the mancs in OT, their very bastion. Speaks volumes.

Then again, it will go either way.

Martinez, if agree to take this Job, dun need to win the BPL cup in one or two seasons.

He just need to guide us back to top four and win the dressing room and recall some players.
FSG will give him a span of 5 Years to bring home the Cup.
*
i doubt 5 years. Realistically, he has 2 seasons, or, the way i look at it, 1 and a half.

They were only able to 'tolerate' 1 and a half season with Kenny Dalglish. if they are sure to give 5, then might as well give it to Rafa. He was the guy that brought in the rafalution. and it has worked for us. the effect is permeating.

SoS did propose a community-share system that would follow / emulate the ones used in the giant Italian / Spanish clubs. This would then help to raise the cash.

If my memory serves me right, even the Mancunians are a public-listed entity.

If we keane is our manager, i am sure he will boot licking SAF like Hodgson so I rather hire back Graeme Souness than take Keane.

unlike other managers who are pro saf, he hasn't if i recall correctly fielded a weaker 11 when playing against the mancs.

Oh well. I guess for fans that were so adamant about getting KD off, well, here you have it.

Okay, let's see what we have on table.

1) Brendan Rodgers as manager.
2) Steve Clarke is still on-board. Expect our defense to be rock-solid. He's proven as a defensive coach.

3) We still have few roles that we need to fill in. We are in severe need of goalkeeping coaches (academy, first team, reserves), we need a sports health and science head (to replace Dr. Bruckner), we need a sports psychologist ( a new role) , a fitness coach (we technically haven't replaced Pako Ayestaran), and we also haven't got our head physio (which Dr. Bruckner was heading both)

And DOF / SD too. Any takers?

Actually I think this is a good wake up call to close ranks.

And seemingly negative it is, the ones that are spewing negativity are Liverpool FC's own supporters. Nothing bad had been said from Swansea nor Wigan fans yet.

Added on May 31, 2012, 9:51 amBy the way, Rodgers have been invited into Spanish team entourage. This was when he was still Swansea's boss. So I guess he'll still be doing some tactical assessment. Ha ha!

Well, if what we see is an indicator of sorts, then rafalution may reap its rewards sooner.

Hey, imma gonna type this from the inner rural areas of Similajau;

1) Congratulations on our new boss. I hope he stamps his methods, that tiki-taka.

2) He did say he needs 2-4 signings. And lots of time. Amoo is already Bosman, he's signed for Reading. Well, good luck but not on our expense.

3) The Euro and the Olympic schedule would not really work for us, I'll say that at best we must afford our support in this evolutionary season.

4) If he's playing 3 at the back, I'm not worried about Carra, but what about Flanagan, Robbo, Kelly, Glen Johnson, and other wingbacks that we have? We already have Agger, Skrtel, and now we can't just throw in Coates (at the expense of other CBs, can we?)

Adam will be a suspect, he's only good up ala Jonjo. Henderson should thrive, many have been criticising him due to his short / sideway passes. He should fit in BR's tactics.

Joe Cole definitely won't make it, unless its at the expense of Downing, Johnson, etc. But I doubt we'll sign new players unless we're selling them first.

Kuyt's gone. What's our manager doing? Hopefully he gets to sign good targets that will improve the game play. I think at this moment we need forwards , assuming aquilani is back, we have enough wingbacks to convert as wingers. Passers we have loads. But no decent DCM (if Lucas is injured again, shrugs)

Was it Martinez or was it Rodgers that deals with training when players are tired (supposedly when you practice when you're tired, you'll notice mistakes and rectify them, so that in real games you aren't prone to make such mistakes?

if we want to follow barca way..Carroll should be drop & be replace by skilful forward..problem is they dont come cheap
*
Carroll doesn't need to be dropped. Any players can fit the tiki taka.

Caroll can score with his feet too (remember the 3-0 hammering he gave us when he was playing for NUFC?)

What i'm more concerned is what kind of system would our gaffer Brendan Rodgers implement. He did say he needed time to mould the team's playing style and shape.

And I believe that all of our players aren't training now, they are on holiday?
