Just wonder, have anyone of you here experience sometimes the there is some sound(engine sound or fan sound) from the engine part even after the car turn off? This kind of sound will last for about 15-20 secs. It make me curious whether have the engine 100% stop?

Are this is the behavior of the CFE (turbo) engine?

Or go there to molest the car... Hehehe

Just called by SA saying one white cfe can give me bcoz owner want to wait for next series of alphabet which is next month. I was so happy at first.  I immediately go and check out the car first, armed with all the knowledge i gained from you forummers 

There were 3 silver, 2 white and 1 black there. The white chassis 25XX. Those are the digits that i hate including .. 2,4,5,7,0.  Nonetheless, I am very eager to forgive the numbers when I saw the white baby. The keys were not ready for me to inspect the inside of the car.  Black cfe park next to it is chassis 31XX.  Was it a coincidence??  I get to compare the outside of 2 different batches.  The White really expose the strong and humble character of the Preve. It seems the paint job was good and I am satisfied with the outlook of the White. After waiting for over 15 minutes, still the keys are not ready.  As a result I dont get the chance to inspect the welding, usb, glove box etc. But I suddenly recalled the fog lights on left front side does not have cover.  I bent down and saw it missing and that confirms the hole is meant for ventilation and cooling. But when I check the black cfe, both sides got cover.  That means the missing cover is really MISSING!    It seems they have rectified a few issues in the 2nd batch production and I am not sure what else they rectified as I cant get inside the car to looksie. 

From that moment, I told the SA that I have decided to wait for 2nd batch or maybe those 1st batch which have been recalled and rectified.  Of course, we can easily get a cover replaced during first service but the chassis number and the missing cover sums up my conclusion.  Sometimes it's better to let your sixth sense make the decision.  If your heart feels something amiss, then don't force yourself or try to convince yourself.  You end up cheating yourself to make your heart happy for a minute, and end up hating yourself for the rest of the minutes. 

Let's all be patient and hope we get a unit that is from a good batch. 

black is cfe 2nd batch. all door handles also got white sticker so that fingernails dun scratch when open door. 1st batch dun have stickers sighted there.

I don’t think ECU remap will solve the sluggishness issue as explain by Kristof the issue lies on the transmission itself, due to clutch fully disengage with flywheel if you press the brake.

Furthermore this is not twin turbo, correct amount exhaust gas required to spin the turbine in order to get minimum amount of PSI required for compression. And the turbine will start spin at 2K RPM.

Got my baby yesterday evening. 6pm. Booked on 11th May and got it 18th May. Not bad. In fact very fast. Thanks to my SA. PE Giant Bandar Puteri.

Brief check of the car before proceed to sign the release paper. Didnt find any paint chip or scratch or any faulty parts inside. Good. Sign the release letter and straight go to Shell to fill in 95 fuel. RM85 full tank. Will claim later to SA as he said tak sempat to fill up before i came and pick up the car. So nevermind.

My chassis no is 1752. Plate no BLR 8XXX. Acceleration is a little sluggish as most of the early batch guys who got the car experienced the same. Will get it check on the 1st service. Braking also helicopter sound but i 100% sure that it is because of new break pad. So need some time. Tested braking after a high speed (100km/h) breaking is good. Noise is there like i mentioned but after i brake hard and stop, a bit of smell. Burning smell from the and brake side. I believe the OEM brakes are not for high speed braking. Could be wrong though. Will be getting my Ferodo brakes after the 5K service.

Erm if we change the brake pad does the warranty void? NOt sure need to find this out before proceed. Sound from inside the cabin is ok. Acceptable. Engine sound can be heard but i can live with that. No problem. More thrill i would say hahaha.

Right rear door could not be close with minimal force. So have to slam a bit hard to close it properly. Will get it sorted on the 1st service too. My mileage before taking the car is 45km. So i believe i still have a long way to go for 1st service.

No wind noise from inside or left rear like some of them experience. Drove about 160km/h yesterday to Putrajaya no wind noise. So it is good. Very stable car. Nice and firm steering.

Ok guys, this is for now. Will post details later. Need to read all the manuals first. To all who haven't got the car....this car is worth waiting my friend. Hope you guys will get asap.

I have the capacity to buy 130k car but i still choose Preve simply becos it's really value for money unless I hv 1 million cash then only I will consider rm100k n above car. Right now funding for semi premium prop. So yeah, u can say I cant afford to buy expensive car, for now.

I think the side mirror should auto unfold when the engine start instead of when the car move at 5km/h. If not when reversing  we have to press button to unfold the side mirror.

I believe it is easy to change and it will only involve software/coding adjustment. How to ask proton to consider this ?

You mean by lock-unlock the car ?  I think, sometimes we unlock the car just to open the door or boot and not for driving. If the side mirror fold and un-fold everytime we lock-unlock the car, there will be extra stress to the motor mechanism in the side mirror. The best I think to fold when locking the car and to un-fold when starting the engine or inserting the key (if Proton concern about the reliability of the motor).

I think there is some reason, becos if u parking like left side very close to the wall or any obstacle and u fold the mirror when u park, u won't want it to open and hit the wall, good for some special situation la but I think auto unfold at start engine is more practical tho..
