paint chip off can touch up at SG? my paint chip off a bit and SA ask me need bring back to them for touch up. if SG can do it then i dun need take leave 2 days.
*
No, SG cannot help you with touch up. Just that while doing SG, discovered that the car was touch up before. SG only can do coating and point out the paint whether smooth or not or whether got dust trapped or whether you have been touch up before. After my session on Monday, I can only say that there is little time for car to dry and the environment in which the car was painted is not entirely clean and hence poor quality of paint. I was told even the new sonata have paint issues.

Guess, all car manufacturer have the same problem

hi guy,
no mean to offend, after going thru this thread. i decided to give up preve.
first thing i don't like is the sluggish start of this car.
i will go for other car. sad.gif
all, thanks for sharing.
*
Sluggish start can be solved thru ECU remap. Honestly for this price, it is quite good already

i don't understand, why don't they do it before the launch ?
why need to wait for ppl feedback then only they do remapping and etc... ?
if they give good impression for ppl in the first place, then many will be happy and satisfy right from the start.  sad.gif
*
I think they design the car to be fuel efficient hence sluggish start but did not expect that majority cannot accept. Well, remap the ecu. As for other problems, just launching a new product bound to have small issues because test environment and real environment is different. In addition, most of the people working in the project is too close to the project already and cannot detect all the issues that come out later.

QUOTE(tkaira @ May 16 2012, 11:22 AM)
that one not sure..need to ask EB users.. ia sked why proton did not inform the customers why the cars are having late delivery due to recall.. he said because people will hentam proton say car not out yet got problem which most of the public doesnt know that other manufacturers also face the same probs for 1st batch like my friends forte..his forte 1st batch got prob but 2nd batch far better... so form telling baik senyap ...

my SA also said protn is fully aware of the customer complaints and is working hard to rectify them.. compared to tengku mahalel era where proton knows got problem but he said "screw the customers, just send the faulty car, later can come back to SC" i was like  doh.gif  sweat.gif

Not only Tengku Mahaleel time, masa Datuk Nadzmi Salleh time even worst. Think new management will need time to remove the tak apa attitude that have been in the org since 1986?

More like T & H owners are more tolerant.

If  it was a Proton, they will fucuk until which generation ancestor.

Why the double standard? We should be proud to drive and use our own car just like the Koreans and Japanese with their Kia, Hyundai, Toyota and Honda

QUOTE(Junn @ May 16 2012, 02:27 PM)
Car like waxed, water will bead.
Doesn't need to take so much care of the paintwork, just need to wash yourself once a while.
*
Just to add, unlike conventional detailing method. Car is treated with silica ie. glass and therefore less time and effort required to polish and wax the car. Frequent polishing and waxing of car will cause tiny scratch, swirl marks and hologram which damage the car paint in the long run.

With sierra glow, you only need wash with water or ph neutral soap

Btw, please stay away from road side, local car wash because the people will use cloth or even worst dirty cloth to wash your car. Best to wash on your own or just use water to hose down the dirt.

Salam.

Hantar mula2 dapat kereta untuk mengekalkan warna asal kereta. Kalau anytime, lagi banyak scratch dan paint chip.

Are you sure? hmm.gif Then the hell I Proton made official statement in FB saying that waiting period is 2 months? Can I post your answer here in FB later then? See how they react this time...
*
Inconsistency? Official say one thing, Dealer say the other. Kalau macam ini mana ada confidence?
