Uncle, u upgrade to Taiwan version using mobile odin or PC odin?

64G RM245 is sandisk (need more than 10 ppl to get this price), 32G RM95 is from a Korea OEM brand. Both also class 10.

uncle is updating using mobile odin so he can try force root.

I use Mobile Odin Pro : selected wipe all data, caches and inject root etc
Rom successfully rooted
Than I manually boot into stock recovery and install CWM and Busybox

Nice one bro, looking for this, need help my fren flash custom kernal

Tried to flash to stock ICS LPY today, followed all the procedure, but got stuck at the glowing samsung logo.
Waited for 25 minutes, then flash back to stock open europe ROM & now I'm back to Rocket Rom v23.

Sigh. Really wanted to try ICS.

I've flash this rom for 3 of my fren, all look great and smooth

The problem is, I can't even enter LPY.
It's like the flash failed. Stuck at the glowing Samsung logo.

That's why I go back to LC1 Open Europe Rom then to KJ1 rooting ROM and then finally to Rocket Rom V23 Gingerbread.

Now I don't know what to do & to be honest, I'm really scared to try ICS again, afraid of bricking my device.

u used mobile odin to flash?

mine got no problem from stock lc2 to stock lpy+cf-root kernel, maybe u can refer to uncle benny blog, his experience of flashing this rom

Seriously, even with advises from here, I'm just too scared to try ICS again.

I'm scared of bricking my device.

if u do scare but want to use ics, can try from lc2 with abyss 3.9, then use mobile odin (mine is lite), select that lpy on open file, cf-root zimage as kernel... but then i do still doubt that since i followed flashing guide from jjpda.blogspot.com

I think I'll just wait for the official Malaysia ICS that can be upgraded through KIES so it's easier for me to flash to custom ICS rom. (I hope so )

It won't be long since Taiwan ICS is already released.

some ics roms has bootloaders built-in that might be able to brick ur phone, most of it does from what i observed especially the ics leak before
