uncle i try to restore back to my criskelo backup using abyss 4.2..restore successful and i select reboot system then after reboot seem it load the abyss again and then hang..any other solution i can do??

if you wanna get spare battery it is better to get original or from more respectable brand like mugen, otherwise don't risk it , might blow your note.

For those who flashed rocket ics with missing Samsung apps, you can extract it from any of the previous rom at your PC. And just install it like normal apk. No need to wait for any update. After install the samsung apps.apk, run it,it will update itself.

Anybody know if I use Jotter can I do print screen using SPen? And will it directly go to edit picture mode? This question is based on if I on AOKP roms not TW..

From what i know, most of the aokp Dunn have original function of what Samsung's ROM provided.



Pls always do some reading at the developer's descriptions at the 1st page,and use the search function to find the keyword you wanted to. All the explanations are there.

abyss wont install. it will reboot by itself at midway point of installation or it wont even begin installing.
i did try a method, which was to grab franco #10, reboot recovery, abyss 4.2 no go, abyss 3.9 pill no go.
i tried a lot of other combinations, still a no go.

since the window i had was very slim and small, i had to quickly setup my phone on mtp and quickly connected it to pc and transfered a 6-7mb file all in under 30 secs. in this 30 secs, it included the bootup time, the searching time and the damn scanning time. anything larger than a 10mb file i would've not made it in time. trust me. the window of opportunity to transfer a file is close to mission impossible.

i had 6 hours of torture yesterday night and didnt sleep until now.
my final masterpiece was odin back to gb using darkynote 3.4
hit in cfroot xxkka after that. and the hell i notice a yellow freaking triangle at the N7000 bootup and man, i'mn still trying to get rid of the damn triangle.

then i had to download rocket 22, fullwipe then rocket 23.

so yesterday night itself i downloaded like a 10000000 gb worth of data and the wait time was horrible.

and i'm still stuck on rocket 23 now with a stupid triangle . triangle away doesnt work in my case apparently.

Have you try to flash the open German ics 1st?
Try to flash the German ics 1st, then root it.
Then only follow steps b1 or b2 from the rocket post.

if i odin lpy into my phone i wouldnt be facing this issue.

but however the instructions was on eybee's op in rocket v1.
those that came from gb had to wipe using abyss and then flash.
and that's exactly what i did.
even eybee himself also faced constant reboots. soi i guess he's gonna modify his instructions to get ppl to odin to lpy before applying his v1.

anyway i'm tired. and i wont be messing with my device tonight. i am gonna give up and just wait until something easier comes along. i'm still good with rr23 and now i just need to go grab my jig back so i can truly remove that damn triangle.

I'm from german ics rooted with cf-root, and follow step b2, all without any problem. Within that i also flashed jdroid's kernel cleaning script before flashing rrom v1.

Why dont u try alba v2.1 its very easy as ABC

bro triangle away only works with the chinese lp1 leak ics repack.

your best bet after getting rid of triangle is, pc odin lpy ics stock german. then root the stock ics rom, then from there onwards flash whatever rom you want.

yup. but that is u. i'm not from german ics so i cant be following b2 right ? and moreover step a is still there on the post right ?

the only advice i can give out to others that are coming from any gingerbread rom, is to really odin yur device into lpy and then root it, and then go for whatever rom you want. safety but extra steps, still beats a damn long headache and sleepless night.


honestly, i dont really try things that i dont want. at this point there isnt much that is going to move me to ics yet. yesterday's encounter was really crappy for me. if i really wanted ics badly, rocket's v1 would be what i'm moving to. i'd get stock odin lpy and root it and then go for v1. However my desire for ics has temporarily come to a halt stage. all i'm interested now is grabbing my jig back and removing that eyesore yellow triangle. lucky for me i managed to reinstate everything on my phone to the way it was with some minor mods and jkay's deluxe.

and my best bet of getting rid of the triangle is to use a jig. i'm not touching lpy anytime soon so the jig is now gonna be my next saviour.
