I feel RVP will be the biggest traitor ever. Bcs all this time b4 this season he spent most of the time on the treatment table but still Arsenal paid his wages in full. Now he had 1 good season and all a sudden he is too good for Arsenal? The greatest Arsenal player ever Thiery Henry wages was just 120k a week and Henry can do a hell lot more then just score goals. Whether he stays or go i don't give a damn bcs i feel he only good at striking the ball as hard as possible with his left foot. I just pity Arsene Wenger who is really one of the last loyal people is this Football Industry.

Haha been years didn't post in this thread..Well, its Wenger's fault imo at first place for not buying quality players to supplement the squad to win trophies.We always lose our best player, why?Because they are just fed up year after year when they are playing at a very high level while the others squad members are just plain mediocre players.How long is this going to continue?How long are we going to rebuild and rebuild and season by season our best player will leave.Where will that get us to?Wenger need to step up and buy proper player so we can put some real challenge for trophies.RVP has made it clear that he wants to win a trophy with Arsenal and in 2009 he stalled on a new contract offer.Why?because he wanted Wenger to invest good money and buy proper players.Not those mediocre one who's just good enough to be at top 5.However he did signed the contract extension back then but where did it brings him to?Another 3 years of mediocre players.Look at a bigger picture.If we keep selling our best player, what image will it bring to this club?Im sad to say this, but we're heading towards being a feeder club.

Nowadays football so call ambitious to win trophy is by buying players instead of train player. Blame those big spender!!! Ish Ish

Now stop calling him a traitor when its the club who's not showing ambition in winning trophies.I have waited patiently for 6 years that Wenger would change and start investing in the squad with proper players.Now we're in this sort of situation because of his stubbornness to spend money in the squad.Its funny to see a guy who loved Arsenal pretty much being called traitor when he could have left us for Inter in 2009.One may tell he have a debt to settle etc.But there's no harm in investing the money he got from sale of players right?

Added on May 19, 2012, 6:28 pmCan't blame them 100% although we may hate them.IMHO, Wenger needs to adjust himself to current real life situation that football is no longer about training your own players from age of ten.Its how football have evolved.One thing i respect Fergie is that he always adjust his style to the current needs.That's injecting money every now and then so that the shape of the team looks good and ready to win trophies.

Actually fergie spend a lot as well on players. Also won't denied that we always have this players injured issue and the sub is not up to expectation.

Injuries are common and thats why we should have capable players on the bench.Not those flashy ones.One who could get the job done.Well if spend money like Fergie also, can recoup back the money via trophies won and sales shirt.If we start dominating the league or Europe, our fan base will grow and more people will buy Arsenal merchandise.Just how Ronaldo's deal brought RM the investment they did.

this.... if anyone to blame wenger for not spending should go blame the board if the is too strict dont want to spend more than 15 millions what can a manager do.... lets say that Aw is a Barcelona or RM or maybe City manager for sure he can spend so many money our AW position is like david moyes in everton rarely spending but can maintain their position league

but the differences between arsenal and everton is that arsenal used to win cup with AW but not Moyes
therefore the pressure is even higher on AW shoulder

Added on May 19, 2012, 7:46 pmThere are so many players out there Wenger choosed not so spend alil more money.Perfect example Alonso.AW offered 18mil but Liverpool wanted 20mil.Wenger decide not to spend 2mil more and we carried on the season with Denilson.This was in 2009 iinw.

And lastly i even wonder whats the contribution of Silent Stan as the majority share holder.Usmanov have made it clear he's ready to invest money into the club but the board members didnt quite like him.

His reason is the club is in debt but we already put in a Self sustaining module so we are sticking to it.

Yes money was made available to himfor transfer but how to compete with those sugardaddy clubs? Say if we spend 20mil on someone for transfer, how much we gonna pay his wages? 120k per week? Factor in that for 4 yrs contract plus bonuses, thats already 25 mil for his wages alone for 4 years not including bonuses. So this 20million guy now actually worth 45millions!
