Oh I see, maybe yr payment manner is good so they offer more CL for you.

I think this is one of the possible right? hmm.gif

Isn't it normal to have higher CL for OCBC?
I have seen quite a number of people reported here before having higher CL compared to their Maybankard2card.
I'm one of them too, during my card approval, they already gave me higher CL.

What do you mean by payment manner is good? Did you mean yours is not good? smile.gif
Holding credit cards requires discipline.

Haha, CL high or low doesn't matter for me, as long as the CL is enought and no late payment is made..

I mean there is no late payment is made so bank offer high CL for card holder

my payment record for other card is good.. no late payment and etc... my CCRIS also 0... and my annual income is way higher than the minimum requirement... that is why i wonder why the credit limit given is too low.. just like a normal gold card

Exactly. smile.gif
I don't really ask for high CL anyway, since they gave it to me. I just accepted. smile.gif
I don't think that is one of the criteria to be considered for higher CL.
I have never paid late for any of my credit card payment yet my Maybank CL is pretty low.
Anyway, I can't blame them as it was based on my income 2 years ago when I was offered by them. I guess it is time to update them and to upgrade my CL.

my payment is always on time so far. if you are not satisfied with the credit limit, you may ask for an increase after a year or so

if they offer higher CL just accepted it for sure. No one request decrease for high CL? But just in case

But another thing that I was thinking, hmm.gif if the CL higher in this card, the rebated amount only for RM50 which spend for RM5000 right, even higher CL also no use haha... Suppose to be request increase CL for another cards, at least they still have point rewarding when spending.

To gain the full benefit of this card, go for the 5% catogery. Then only RM1000 will give you max RM50 rebate dy brows.gif

I used to have a higher CL from OCBC...but, i request to decrease it to half as I don't used the card when i reached 1k..plus, my ocbc ti have been hijacked by other to used at the hotel for 3k...ocbc took 3 months to investigate this after i report, and the worst part is ocbc take the fraud transaction as if i'm using the card...thus, for the month itself ocbc assume i used 4k...i just paid 950 as per usage minus the rebate...lucky they didn't cherged me the interest for the fraud case...but they hold it for so long for investigation
