Yes.

Value pressure reading at inlet during water usage with dirty filter will be higher than the reading at inlet during water usage with a clean filter

I'm confusing with the filter media, from the thread here, I saw a lot ZeoPlus Zeolite, is this a famous brand/type of sand?
I saw some water filter have 5 layer / 7 layer, if using ZeoPlus Zeolite, how many layer will it have?

Cant comment much due to lack of understanding of their filter terminology unless dissect and see what is inside.

Coming back to sand filter, I will share my exp during my childhood days where my family uses well water and an oil drum diy sand filter.

Sand filter consist of few stages of coarse stones to fine sand at the top. Every few months we have to remove the top layer and replenish with new due to rapid accumulation of dirt, algae and whatever due to untreated source.

Our current pipe water is better compared to well water. One still need to change periodically to avoid accumulation of whatever.

If the seller recommend above 6 months for a periodic replacement, is a no go for me. What one cannot see inside, user seldom change mainly because of cost factor.

POE filters should be changed regularly and I do it every 2 weeks for my simple sediment filter. A cheap regulary changed filter is better than an expensive and unchanged filter.

A good water flow doesnt mean the filter is effective after using for sometime.
