maybe generic sand water filter ca be used?
just need back wash.

For ceramic, it can last a long time ..... if you maintain it properly.

Clean it every 2 weeks under high pressure running water. DO NOT scrub the ceramic and dont drop it.

Should be long time.. at least 5years.. my MIL house after 10years replaced.. basically it was the fiber housing detoriate 1st.. (weather exposed)

On 3M AP902 outdoor water filter. Gone through the thread, seems like this is recommended for condo rather than landed. Is this not suitable to be installed under the scorching sun?
