the bolded part, do wipe data/factory reset (only do it when flashing new rom)
the rest all correct. thumbup.gif
hint* cache n dalvik cache, needs to be wiped when changing kernals n baseband

the part where u move all ur data to computer n back is only when u are doing unlocking and relocking or flash back to stock.
im sure there are lazy pple around like me who only backup my sd data's once ever blue moon
*wiping factory doest wipe sd partition. but if u backup u're preety safe if anything do go wrong.
**make sure u backup google maps and earth and navigation, new roms rarely packs those and pple been yelling on forums asking where it go..

lol.. if on aokp i could help maybe..
1) set it as alarm, not notification..(unless u wan it repeat by u mean nex week or something/monthly), if so,
-go google calander, and set the repeater, most of the more advance settings are there.
rememeber the phone is for on the go reminder. computer is for working all the events.(suppose to sync with email too)
2) well if u r on aokp, u got options to rotate the notification tongue.gif
but on stock im preety sure if u leave enuf space, it shud show, cuz they will show the main piorty then at least a few events of the day.. try having no events and 4+ bday.. shud be there, also if u r using apex, u get 6 x4 screen which lays more entries.

Umm.. have u went into the google calander jungle and look at the settings...
cuz if u continue do in phone is pointless, cuz i also realised when i setup my calander.

2 leave space is having more space on screen.. defult i think is 5x4 or 4x4.. if u setup 6x4 u get more space.
also in google cal, u can set which events not to show, like basic holiday, weather, state holiday etc.. it takes more space. more space taken birthday cannot show all cuz still nid show events 4 the day.
