m5 kinda problematic even if itz known as stable.
2day earth n maps closed unexpectedly while vsing aunty open directions to a location in the city..my nexus lost to iphone 4s..

mine got 2 reasons.
permissions
dirty built.. been restoring narn from diffrent roms on the go so
i ask 4 the problems maybe

OMG.. just met up wif a grandma last week
just now called me, wan me teach her the way..
she wants me buy her a galaxy nexus!
she wants me to teach her how to use it and call her friends...
soo sudden...

i'm sure they will come, just one day...
but if they come, they gotta make offline avaliable. data makan in nav mode is super high.
google maps running eat data lesser but i usually load, lock and leave gps n off data.
navigation no options load all the route..

if u never wipe be4, u probable didnt do a full wipe.
go back to CWM, then select factory reset wipe
then install ur fav rom the unicorn~

bro djronzai, just if u can access ur nexus now, plug in and put gapps then reflash,
dun nid wory if no gapps cuz u forget. can always reflash.
just asking also, u sure u took the gsm aokp b38 rite? not the lte?
u only get bootloops(unicorn show n dissapear over 5 mins) if u chose incompatible roms, and also do a dirty flash.

ALSO, remember, nex time, be4 u flash anything, do a backup(in cwm options) so u can fall back and not panic like this time.

stock bootloader is ok (dun nid change unless u wan or it fix critical bugs)
radios/basebands can be changed too if u wan
u can add 4.0.4 stock, custom basebands, custom kernal, original bootloader~

u nid to adjust the phone more towards ur left or else u will appear to the right always

i wonder if there is a way to make the bottom 48px for the navigation bar to hover above the screen space..
meaning like u can use all 1280 and the bottom of the 1280 have a 48 above so u still can press it but itz like invisible..
how hard can finding 3 buttons spaced out be soo hard

yup in liquid n aokp etc.
change nav bar means use lesse space but i wan it invisible to show the stuff like full screen but when press down there u r pressing menus

what mr darksilver means is
roms are like aokp m5/b36/37/38, liquid smooth 3, aosp cm9/7/6, pandroid, miui, rasberry, and finally stock aosp 4.0.4
kernals is like- lean 3.8 exp/stable, trinity, franco, etc.
basebands are just radios made for roms to interpret the hardware- xxkk6,xxla2,ugla4
