haha... because really have the bad try before. my s2 send to service center to recovery. but i will still will consider the first page to do myself. which rom you recomment?

2.3.6 is the latest one at the moment.
Most of us are using the custom ICS

I think the problem with stock gingerbread is the gps wakelock is preventing our phone to go deep sleep.. I am still doing testing on what is causing it but I realise after Bluetooth file transfer, then then phone stay at 200mhz during sleep.. The only way to solve is to restart the phone. Then,it will go deep sleep. Anyone can share/help?

i'm tired of touchwizz, nothing can content me now, tried adw launcher , go launcher, sslauncher, nothing can make me happy, n lastly i go back to touchwizz..,,,the only launcher that i'm satisfied enuf is launcher 7, which make my fon like window fon, but then becoz of battery life, i revert back to touchwizz..hmmmmm....what i'm missing in here

Perhaps that time you are trying the Custom ICS rom for G version right?

boss how do i get a custom ics? and ics can root? stable?

no. root only for s2 non g. because that time havent got ics for s2.

Latest is Gingerbread 2.3.6 DXLC2. All info you can get at first page. Please read it first.

I see. Just confuse wat file i need to download.. So many file ics repack, kernel, modem. I want to download the lp5 modem but cannot. It always loading find a connection. So many time try but no luck here men.

Wow, sorry to hear that.

I was using the Non-G previously, root and flash ICS.
Then my staff buey tahan wanna flash also. I told him this is not ment for G Ver but degil then soft brick the phone.
I pula jadi technician try to fix it.

guys, my galaxy note, when online using wifi, it'll always restart once there is no data transfer or the signal weak. can help? is it software or hardware issue?

From the root+cwm guide, you can directly download the files that are needed, red text are clickable. If you have problem with the download, then go to Downloads to get other mirror.

setting>display>touch key light duration...

If u are on stock rom, got setting for the backlight duration under display iinm.
