i don't know about zenmuse cause I'm using feiyu G4 3 axis gimbal.. i just need to calibrate once but if i put backpack need to re calibrate because of weight difference.. but this type of gimbal easy to calibrate because they only serve 1 type of camera.. i bet ronin have wide range of parameters because of wide variety of DSLR with diff type of lenses.. having a ronin for DSLR is overkill if the M version cannot handle DSLR..

how cool if DJI can come out a second operator controller like Freefly MIMIC rather than using traditional stick controller.. a gyro controller

Phantom Battery is NOT compatible with Ronin. Ronin using 4S as Phantom using 3S.

Pluck and pull foams? Theyre quite fragile.. I wish they made an insert for the Ronin-M with hard foam to fit in the Pelican case

For the new Ronin-M users, if youre like me and cant afford the DJI monitor clamp for the Ronin-M which is "Not Included" in the box , you may need these to mount a monitor on the cheap , well atleast cheaper than the $120 designated clamp.

Or just go a little ghetto with zip ties and gaffers tape. Well atleast it worked out for me and made my DP happy.

lol ghetto FTW.. i have a lot of unused RC parts around for a ghetto setup.. might try when arrive.. i have an RC drift event end of month but i guess have to use go pro with gimbal sadly.. i have not yet master steadycam merlin the swing left and right almost impossible to eliminate.. must.practice.more. if only i have more free time

That looks so not safe , I can imagine the Ronin bouncing back and forth in the case and it hurts.

This case seems really small , hopefully they make one to fit in the Pelican 1650.
Plus only 1 battery isnt enough, well depending on the scale of the production ofcourse.

Anybody got experience with EasyRig? Im planning to rent one to use with the Ronin-M for run and gun shooting. Please share some thoughts. I really wanna know will my movement be ristricted , and will I be able to run in it

received my ronin-m yesterday.. just finish with balancing it.. test it for 5 -10 minutes.. and so far not having what adrian11 experience.. which is good.. no vibrating issue etc.. and GST is pain lol.. gear mounted 7D Mark II w/ 16-35mm f/2.8L

comparing it to big brother ronin this is featherweight..

gonna do some footage tomorrow if got time.. and i decided merlin got to go
those who considering ronin should invest in proper on camera field monitor.. looking through the camera back lcd is not the best experience.. almost like shooting with a GoPro without the LCD bacpac.. your view will be hindered by the pan arm.. unless u wanna go upright mode which give you a better view of camera back lcd..

so far the out-of-the-box experience is excellent.. with merlin i waste so much time just to balance it properly..
like adrian said only cons is no pro looking pelican case.. box come with normal custom cut polystyrene..
