Btw, iCare gave me a call.

So here is what i could gather from the phone call. The process is as follows:

1. Book car
2. Apply loan
3. Loan approved. Bank issue LOU (letter of undertaking). Proton need this to proceed with the booking.
4. ICare explain chassis number out only when car IN THE HUB. Prepare for delivery. NOT on manufacturing line as someone mention here. (The former makes more sense coz they need to make sure the car pass QC)
5. Car is delivered.

So in my case is like this

1. Booked 14/4/12
2. Apply loan 16/4/12 <- i assume coz this is first day of the week after i booked.
3. LOU 20/4/12 <- iCare tell me one.

So she inform me i still dun have chassis number. So i'm guessing my car is not among the car someone saw in the hub the other day

She say 1-2 months time frame is calculated from LOU date. So in my case the earliest is 20/5 and if 2 months is 20/6.

So for those pre-bookers. Your loan approved only they will begin the booking and NOT from the date of booking. Also someone mention here before from the date loan sign which is also wrong. The correct one is from the date LOU is issued.

So for those who already have their chassis number, either SA con you. Or your car stuck in hub not delivered. You think which one more possible? I believe you better call iCare. Complain and give your chassis number to them for checking.

should be easy enough to get 100 if we all order more then 1 piece a person. roadtax sticker is always needed every year. but need to get good one. coz i know some sticker dont stick well with road tax and will cause the road tax edge to peel off

so the conclusion my SA for a lot of time, cheated me. fucuk my SA. she keep saying Proton will deliver base on booking date. sial la.

Bro, that is the process,sometimes what is told my i-Care cannot 100% trust, today they tell you this story and tomorrow when you call, they will tell you another story.

So many YES 4G registration hurdle.  Better report to iCare to let them know the registration procedure is mess due to lack of training.

Saw just one black unit of Preve on a trailer delivering to the Proton outlet in Sunway Mentari. So who could be lucky owner? Other cars on the trailer were Persona and Saga.

I manage to get my car from my branch until i told my SA and the branch manager that i will send the email to DSZ regarding this. After 2- 3 days later, they told me that my car had arrive.

This is what i have did to speed up my car delivery. i am not sure, whether have i did the right thing, at least they manage to got me the chasis no and process to buy insurance for my car.

so i went to check out my car, this time, it is really mine but queuing up for inspection so tuesday only can get car.

got my number plate also means it is really mine not others ;D

P/S: i also seen many with number plate one or without queuing up for inspection, they said it is new procedure called "pre-delivery" inspection. After inspections from the factory then again inspection mainly the engine part.

don't play play, rememeber this, it always work like a charm.

Bro, they key in the booking in the system for me on 19/03.

I got my chasis no before L.O.U given by the bank.
Yesterday got my L.O.U. Today, they are process with insurance & JPJ registration.
