That's a silky goal from Welbeck.

Walcott did a great job. Still think Milner gonna start against Ukraine, as he offers better defensively.

i dont like how hodgson keep putting milner in first team..obviously england cant play with that defensive mind..they keep concede goals regardless how good milner is and he cant offer much up front..walcott/ox might be a better option..

Well, that is Woy. His approach are more defensive. Look at West Brom.

But i do hope next game, Walcott, Baines, Jones will start. And of cos Roo.

next match must be at least a draw or win..i think the formation most likely will be the same...only 1 striker go down, and rooney replacing him...

I'm so happy for Welbz.. He has taken his chances well.

Hopefully Roy will play Rooney and Welbz up front.. They need to attack attack attack to win the group to avoid Spain

I'm guessing Roo will partner with Welbeck. They not need to rely on aerial battle so much since Roo are there.

Instinctive finish from Danny. Another good performance from him. He could continue to be our first choice striker partner for Rooney next season.

Young, Welbeck, Rooney, Walcott will be a good Team of attackers for England. Milner just not quick enough to compliment the speed of Welbeck. Same goes to Caroll.

---------------welbeck------------
Young------rooney----------walcott

Welbeck up front, Rooney as playmaker and link up between mf and attacker, wing of Young and Walcott.

I believe both Carroll & Milner was employed for specific reason. Milner is useful for his workrate to cover Glen Johnson while Sweden conceded 6 goals via headers from their last 7 goals before the game so playing Carroll from the start does make sense.
