stop talking about money you dimwits.

fact is, Mancini managed to make a team and managed to make them bond together as a squad. money is not everything.

Malaga and Getafe are both under Middle Eastern control. and both did well, but did not win the championship with the given financial support they have. they could buy buy buy.

so what if I have a damn Ferrari. it's not like I'm gonna be the best immediately when I have it. I need to learn how to use it first then only I can be the best.

hence the money talk is redundant. United fans who keep saying "Man City bought the title" are idiots. You cannot call yourself United fans if that's your only main point, not even looking at our own team's performance in the EPL.

I won't put too high hopes on any of the players we're linked to. It could be another Nasri situation where he says he wants United, or City or United then suddenly City.

But of course, rumors are rumors, we fap to it. But don't overfap.

cut him a slack,alright...he's bounded by injuries

hoping he could get to play elsewhere

it's hard to cut him some slack when he goes around criticizing how bad the physios at United treat him, which causes his contract at United.

and apparently its the same case at City as well.

would love to see Adam Johnson in United, if it were true. that's a true left winger, unlike Ashley Muda or even The Nanny

Ashley young and nani can do very well on the left flank. What for sign adam johnson? play football manager meh? lol

CM and LB of course smile.gif

So ronaldo plays left midfield and messi plays right. Not true winger?  doh.gif

Come on lah, adam johnson played more on the right wing than left wing for man city last season.
*
"a true left winger"

y u change my sentence. i is sad.

i basically meant
- he's left footed
- his best position is on the left

Ashley Young and Nani, both bests (from what I see) position are on the right.

the beauty of them (not on their favourite foot's position) is they love to cut in. same as Young and Nani, if you noticed, which somewhat becomes predictable because they're not left-foot dominant hence they might be forced to cut in and use their right.

an example, you have a driving license and you can drive both motorcycle and car.
and then you are given an option to drive to place A. you can reach the place fast using a motorcycle.
HOWEVER, you cannot use the motorcycle because someone else is using it, so you're forced to use a car.

i just love to give random examples, pardon me.

have you ever wondered why Adam Johnson is always on the bench?

because Man City's style of playing does not involve wingers (at some certain times of course)

and they already have Kolarov on the left, which Mancini prefers (somehow) over Adam Johnson.

QUOTE(mrkenn @ May 31 2012, 02:07 AM)
For your info. Young played more on the left more than any other position whether its for aston villa and manutd(I think that's his best position  - yes he played the role behind the striker more often during last season before leaving villa.).Look at wingers these days, robben, ribery, ronaldo, messi...they play roles as unorthodox wingers. Do u actually think that we should sign adam johnson to play left-wing just because he is a left-footed player? Do u actually think he is better than ashley young and nani at that particular position?Hmm.

What's the problem with nani? He used to play left midfield when he first arrived at manutd. And nowadays he's has been changing flanks. So you think adam johnson plays better than nani on the left flank?

And for your info again, kolarov is on the sub most of the time as well since when did he become man city's first choice left midfield?. It's DAVID SILVA not kolarav. It's clichy who's been playing on the left flank alongside david silva. If u actually watch adam johnson playing, he scores goals from the right side most of the time.

P/S: There's no such thing as true left winger.  It's called unorthodox/orthodox wingers. Example: Unorthodox left-wingers (right-footed)(Robinho, Ribery, Ashley Young) Orthodox wingers(Ryan giggs)
Maybe u have your point. Sorry if im being too harsh.
*
nah no problem, just having a discussion here.

woops my bad on the Kolarov part. I was aware of Clichy being on the left side of defence, but I forgot who kept playing on the left side of attack.

adam johnson is a good addition because it brings more depth to the squad. nani and young were off form, and we had to rely on Giggs, which most of us know, he does not operate well on the wings like his golden days anymore, he should be better off in the center.

i'm not saying young and nani cannot play left, but it's not their natural position. why put a player not in his natural position (but if they perform fantastic, then i have nothing to say la). young and nani both are fantastic players, no doubt, but having adam johnson will be an interesting mix to the wingers list.

and also on your young point, of course he's played more on the left. who else can play there? we got no one else. SAF had to play him there despite his right-footedness.

i maybe used the term incorrectly, because what I meant was a player playing on the side with his best foot. i might have overreacted the term true left winger though.

whatever it is guys, don't put too much hopes on Kagawa.

yes he's Japanese
yes he's from Dortmund

but if he flops, I don't want everyone to go on a "AIYA SHOULD HAVE SIGNED SOMEONE ELSE INSTEAD" rage.

Chicharito was different because we didn't know what to expect from him. little did we know, he would be a Solskjaer type of striker. supersub indeed.

and there wasn't much pressure on Chicharito apart from him being the first Mexican to play at United. Kagawa is expected (from most of us I think) to completely dictate the tempo of the whole game.

I hope so too, but we need to give him time to gel in with the squad. don't want him to be another Veron. hype so high until the sky, only for him to majorly flop (well not really, he did give in solid performances in midfield)

Who is the current left back for QPR? I think from Fabio's standpoint, it could be beneficial, if the current first choice

is  'inferior' to him, but judging from previous loan deals, e.g. Macheda, it could be a bad deal. Let's just hope

within next season, the earliest, Fabio will be our first team left back. For me, he could be there within the next two

years, which is also depending whether Baines will come in or not. Even if Baines come in, Evra would be on the

wrong side of 30's already. Baines and Fabio for back to back left back. Not too bad.

current left back is Taye Taiwo, went back to Milan after his loan spell.

Added on June 22, 2012, 5:22 amI can't believe this. Arsenal are active in the transfer market more than us. Hope to get 1 or 2 more signing after this
*
I slap you baru you tau.

Arsenal are active in the RUMORS transfer market.

It's all rumored to sign rumored to sign.

For all we know, SAF might pull another Nani/Anderson coup. No one saw that coming at all.

EDIT:

No need to panic. It's the EURO 2012 season, signings can't be made yet, unless we signed an Arabic or Asian player. (or even an Irish/Croatian player).

Have faith in SAF.
