my sgs 2 is too tough that can survive around 100 drops(throw on the table, drop on the concrete floor, etc) in 11 months..lol i just hate the chrome bezel and thank god sgs 3 has minimize it
This i believe is more on software. As long as your device has a front facing camera, it could possibly be ported. But somehow I believe this feature will drain the battery as you need to activate the front cam for it to work
Lucikly we can turn it off. Just turn it on when reading is expected
The HOX shows obvious lag with HTC sense UI with 150 apps loaded but this was gone when I change ui to Nova. Just show HTC sense is still a memory hogger My experience with Samsung phones worst is SGS and is the worst laggy android laying at the bottom of all androids I have used. The SGS2 is still I rate the best android phone surpassing even g nexus n HTC one x Tablet series best is 7.7 follow by 7+, tab 10.1 n last tab 7
True on the Sense part. SGS is really at its launch. However, starting from GB, it really improves a lot. The latest firmware has 364mb ram (Samsung squeezes out the ram) which can be increased up to 400mb using custom kernels. Software has always been the weak of Samsung, but I see otherwise since the launch of SII, not to mention SIII

People always comparing with something non-logical... Comparing threads on a forum isn't a wise way to do so.
Again, this is getting OT. I thought is all about SGS-III and why talk about HTC? Why bringing the One X on this thread? Who bothers about what how many Custom ROM has on a HTC and Samsung? Who cares about TouchWiz against with Sense? Both are totally different UI even deep in the core is Android.
Again? What is this? A stage of intentional flaming wars or what so ever?
I guess some ppl are not too convinced with SIII that forumers here have to bring in those, sigh
curvy curvy so nais. i like the shape. very eye pleasing. square square is like take ruler and design the phone nia lol. i see my friend s2 and my own note is like use 1 ruler to design everything. now this one got curve curve here curve curve there. so smooth to the eyes.
A more important thing is its ergonomics, will be really nice to hold in the phone
last time i used to see phones (motorola E398) with such design. stereo speakers on the side. but as design become more slimmer, this concept is forgotten
speakers on the bottom (fruit brand) is not bad as well, but u have to put your phone head down 1st into pocket
on top or bottom make more sense, on the side chances that you block it when you hold your phone, especially nowsaday bigger screensize people tend to hold with both hand. On top or bottom...well.. you need to remember how you should place your phone direction into the pocket..
i duno is it only me, but i feel that leaked concept is much slimmer and i thought placing speaker on the side will make phones slimmer? because according to logic, if u place speaker to the back, ur adding thickness
It's still a concept, those photoshoppers can make it as slimmer as they want, denying the logic behind manufacturing
kalaks S 3 if you watch HTC One X announcement at MWC, their CEO oso the same. english is not that good shows how important is steve jobs to fruity. asian companies can make tons of better phones, but they don't have any1 capable to present them nicely
Yeah, that's the crucial thing lacked by Samsung. The unpacked live event failed to give me the WOW factor. Watching back how Steve introduced the first iPhone back in 2007, it still amazes me today. Samsung shld find/nurture someone who has the charisma to present. With that, SIII will be a much more successful phone

and the tag line could be better.....maybe " inspired by nature " instead of " designed for humans " now there's tons of jokes about previous galaxy " designed for XXX "
Agree Not sure if they're trying to make fun of sheeps
