Sincerely the Android platform belongs to Motorola,Samsung and HTC, others are not real contenders. The only problem will arise if Motorola will limit other makers to its exclusive rights of Google cause Google owns Motorola Mobility.

I believe the back weird design had something to do with the removable battery... At least I don't have to worry on the problem of running out of juice.. Can always carry the extra battery... What is the purpose of having the phone with build in battery when it runs out of battery

Same here, quite decent design if you ask me.

At the rate this thread goes, a few pages back could mean anything from a few minutes to an hour.

if they put the samsung name at the bottom, i guess the back looks much more finer, same like galaxy note..

Hmmm....this s3 home button seems like pop up,rite? Or they are flat level with the screen?

That's to avoid the names from getting stain. Do you know that the words can be stain if you use your phone naked on S2 or GNote.!? Sweating palm is the main culprit.
Btw..once you slap a casing on it, you cannot see the words already. :-)

It should be mandatory for all phones, just don't understand why some phones left these two out, even HTC android flagship the HOX. 

but if you're thinking of saving and waiting. then i suggest u to wait for note successor. who knows it might come with exynos 5, that is a very big jump. note > s3 won't be considered a major upgrade for me
same for my case, i feel if i go for s3, i'm just wasting money and end up at almost the same spot.

with all these S voice on listening to the magic word all the time, gesture sensor on , n eye tracking on, hotchick radar on, your parents r nearing your perimeter sensor on...i doubt the s3 can survive a day even with a 4000mah battery...u sure, samsung?

What Samsung needs to do is to create a platform for users to submit their wish list or suggestions on improving the user-bility of their devices..

Small screens tends to strain the eyes, which many people know.

That's why only sheeps will not realise about it, looking a teeny-winey screen and had to zoom in often
