Personally I practice habit of always emptying lint filter AFTER using dryer.
1) better way to remember to clear filter as part of wash routine 2) don't have to deal with sticky or musty lint (sometimes a problem in humid weather if left too long) 3) when I want to dry immediately after washing, no need to mafan go and clear filter before loading dryer, can just throw the clothes in from washing machine and start dryer
I do not like 2-in-1 & never used, so I don't know how exactly lint collection works but I think should make habit to "clean after use" every time if possible
Thank you so much for the informative post. At least now I can align the expectation with habit
I called a friend who is a technician specializing in washing machine repairs, and he advised me against choosing Beko. Instead, he recommended Electrolux, Midea, or Toshiba. After doing some research, I found that the Hitachi Heat Pump dryer meets my requirements and costs only RM 2,200.00 for a 10kg capacity.

guys, the new mijia front load is it worth ? after discount rm 1199.
Get model from common brands better.... easier to find spare parts, especially for front load, your absorber will need replacing in few years time depending how you use it

That is assuming you willing and can do DIY fixing. Sometimes even when you got the parts, but can't find a foreman to fix it because nobody is familiar with the model
Also I dont really agree with the whole "throwaway and buy new" argument when it comes to large appliances. Since when had large appliances become disposable item? This is not handphone or laptop....

I just did acid test to mijia washer dryer and can 100% confirm Xiaomi Malaysia has all the parts to repair / fix... not hard they open the washer and all item really standard with LG (Condenser washer/dryer) type... top is the typical heating element with fan... can easily remove... rear is the Direct Drive motor like LG ones... the rest pretty much standard affiars... but at RM1.1K-1.2K vs LG cost 3-4K and more for like the latest samsung nearing rm5K..... no brainer laaa

hi all, for some reason, Harvey Norman guys just delivered the washing machine and dryer without installation. Now I am not sure how to install the dryer, seems like there're wires needed to be connected and also a chrome host to dunno where as per the video.
I am not sure where to get installer to help me on this how to install a dryer? I tried to read the owner manual it didn't state anything at the installation chapter.

Call their customer service and lodge a complaint? Maybe they'll come back to finish the job?
