Any recommendation on dryer? We have a baby, both me and my wife have to work, normally when reach home, clothes become humid.
I don't really know how to choose on washer dryer or separate.
If it can handle comforter would be better, as now I still bring my comforter outside as my washing machine cannot handle. No place to dry also.

then u shud invest in dryer.. most of the dryer has delicate function which suitable for your baby clothings.. if u needed to dry comforter also.. if thick + king size.. u may need at least 9kg dryer..

Direct drive machine eliminates the need for the belt and reduces noise; which means less part to be replaced. Wear and tear should be similar to normal belt type machine; however, direct drive machine from what I observed, seems to be better at balancing during spin.

Which brand was recommended to you by the salesman? Even Hitachi has Direct Drive front loading machine. LG was the pioneer in direct drive.

I am using Panasonic Inverter belt driven FL, its very silent during wash; however, is very poor at balancing clothes especially when doing 10kg full load wash.

balancing? u mean shaking or washer tends to 'move' slightly?

The computer system afraid the machine will 'walk', thus it keeps trying to balance and balance and sometimes end up not spinning at all, especially with full load.

Any model you would recommend? 9kg? I think it would be very expensive.
Do you think 7 or 8 kg sufficient? I am just having queen size comforter.

u can opt for cheapest type of dryer.. the venting dryer.. Electrolux EDV7051 (7kg)

http://www.electrolux.com.my/home-applianc...dryers/EDV7051/

it normally prduce some heat, which is why u need good air ventilation..

for indoor, u can opt for condenser or heat pump dryer.

On a similar vein started by a comment in the washing machine thread that the Panasonic Cuble could not fit under a conventional kitchen countertop for space constraint dwelling, it's time to revisit the parameters fitment of washer dryer combo. At least from Electrolux and Beko, their manuals specifies a clearance of at least 20mm on top and at least 30mm on all other sides for it to breathe/ventilate. The back may require slightly more. Top plate cover are not removable and that's made intentional by recent washer dryer design whereas for washers, some models have removable top plates allowing it to fit under a 820mm countertop.

I believe all the dryer have the filter and need to be clean frequent after use the dryer.

But if it a combo, there is no filter to be clean.

The only filter I can think of is the drainer filter ?
