Time to change service centre. The last 2 items are so obviously out to con you.
My 1k service is RM134 (without the last 2), at official SDH branch.

QUOTE(kekura @ May 29 2012, 08:06 PM)
engine oil treatment, sometimes also fuel treatment are standard service pack by certain service centre regardless hyundai or not. just make sure when send for service, remind them to remove those items from checklist otherwise they put in as standard service package.

QUOTE(l2k @ May 29 2012, 08:09 PM)
Maybe it is some addictive similar to the Honda engine cleaner which top up into the fuel tank and subsequently clean up the carbon residue on the fuel injector and fuel line.

The most important thing is, is it useful ? If yes, then I don't mind paying.

Saw a silver colour passing by Burmah Road this morning.

PKQ x88

Mine PKN just on the road less than 3 weeks, so fast PKQ already shocking.gif

According to forumer here, 50% of Elantra produced is White colour. But I saw 1 white on the road only.

So far saw 3 black, 3 silver, 1 blue and 1 white on the road. One of the black colour I saw is KL plate though.

Anyone else is bothered by the fact that, the USB playlist start from the first file after we got off from car, meaning to say it doesnt cache the memory of last played song and start from the first song again T.T
*

QUOTE(l2k @ Jun 6 2012, 04:32 PM)
Finally my car is allocated  tongue.gif  To all sifu, want to ask several things:

1. The current running no is PKQ2671, it is already passed 3 numbers, so if let say I want to get PKR xxx, is it possible?
2. Can SA do the number booking for you? Or need runner? Cost of runner?

Thanks in advance !
*
Just tell yr SA what u want. If he can't do himself, he will pass to runner to do.

When I tendered for PKN, not sure SA did it himself or pass to runner, cost of runner RM50.

no idea.. my SA says it will be ready by the time i get my reg plate but i seriously doubt his words..
well he better be right or i will definitely report this to the hq or whichever party who can make a decision

i cant even check with hyundai cc now cause i supposedly received my car vmad.gif
*
I booked mine on 25th February and asked the SA to tender number too. Waited till sian liao, called SA on 30th April, telling him if I cannot get my car by 12th May, "I will cancel everything", even though I had successfully getting my PKN number.

SA called me on 3rd May: "Your car parked at our 3S already, pls prepare your down payment"

WTF, according to bro Fruidic, branches should know the chasis no allocation a week or two before the car delivered to them. So the car suddenly appeared in their 3S or what ?

Most "bising" customer will get their car first i think. Queue means nothing at all.. biggrin.gif

I just gave a tongue lashing session to SA. Every 10 calls I call he only pick up once... N every time give me nenek moyang stories.... I placed my booking on 15 apr n he promise me I can get my car once I've gotten the WWW number plate.
*
Not even bother to call back ? That's very bad attitude.

QUOTE(devinz @ Jun 13 2012, 09:11 PM)
Hi all MD owners/owners to be:

Seems there is quite a lot of 1.6 owners.

Wonder if there is any review on the engine performance?

Is it really sluggish per say?

Thanks
*
For me, 1.8 is overkill for city drive.

Sit in my friend's 1.6 before, 5 adults, didn't feel sluggish at all.

The only thing i don't like is the leather seat, totally cannot compare to 1.8

Like others said, go test drive yourself to find out.

I have no regret getting this car, no complain even though have to wash it twice a week tongue.gif

TUIX rim = USD940

Wheel Cap = USD57

EMS shipping = USD150

Custom Duties = 30% + 10% = RM1378

(custom duties suppose to be 10% + 5%, but the officer in charge insist i must pay 30% + 10% vmad.gif )

Installation + balancing = RM100

So total up 5K+ sweat.gif sweat.gif

Wow, 5k for rims.. but nice rims though  thumbup.gif  Any idea what is the TUIX rim weight and the ori 1.8 17" rim weight?

BTW, I got quote for locktech pedal lock RM380. Is it expensive??  (actually not locktech, it is equivalent lock but other brand)
*
No idea about the ori 17" rim.

The TUIX 17" weight 12kg per rim as written on the box.
