drool.gif  If there are 12 bars for 48 liter petrol (indicator in the fuel meter panel)..its mean 1 bar=4 lit petrol = RM8.00...so meaning can run 55 km for 1 bar.. icon_rolleyes.gif
*
dont fully trust/depend on the indicator...not accurate wan

It is not wise to assume all the bars are evenly distributed...

if your SC cannot solve it...try Sg.Pinang 3S, they are good in solving those weird sound, they had solved my door and driver seat annoying sound. I didn't wait till 1st or 2nd service, just called the supervisor to make appointment.
*
Thanks bro. Anyway lazy to purposely go to SC, plan to do my 1st service this weekend, will solve it all together.

To Elantra9336, confirm with shop, the pedal lock quoted to me is Aorto lock, RM380, work similar to Locktech.

By the way, I found that my 1.8, even before 1st service, the fuel consumption is quite reasonable. smile.gif I think the bar is distributed quite evenly, Penang to Ipoh around 2.5bar, did some city driving, come back to Penang another 2.5bar dropped. Maybe the last 2-3 bars drop a little faster, but it is due to pure city driving back here.

Distance travelled: 473km
HW/ City: 55/ 45
Driving style: Moderate footed
No of ppl: Mostly 2
Filled up (full tank): 39.05 ltr (RM74.20)
Avg speed: 51kmh
Avg l / 100km (self calculated) : 8.26
*Highway l / 100km (110kmh): 6.2

I am sure Civic 8 gen has full tail lamp at night. It would be very cacat if only half tail lamp as civic is very obvious having 2 round shape tail lamp.
*
I saw civic 8 gen with half tail lamp before.
It's ok if you never notice it purposely.

It is ok if you really didn't notice it purposely.
A picture worths a thousand word. What we discussed here is tail light on during night. Civic 8gen has full tail light, Elantra by default has half.

Frankly speaking, 1.8 does have better FC compared to 1.6

Because that's the optimum power to weight ratio.

1.6 is rather underpowered imo, we tend to stomp on the gas pedal more often, and also harder.

Hmm, but I think bigger CC only shines if car is driven continuously and maintain at higher speed. Stuck in jam, FC easily shoot up to the roof.

Maybe 1.8 is better for mid speed acceleration, hope the 2k summon fine won't be implemented brows.gif
However, for city driving, 1.8 little bit overkill.

Complaints from me:
1. Broken boot latch, detached spring.
2. Vibration sound from rear cargo side

Other minor comment:
1. 1.8 ride is a little bit harsh over uneven road, maybe due to over pressure from factory and low profile tyre.

drool.gif l2k..i don't think so..to me bigger cylinder consume more fuel than smaller one..esp in town area ..so for overall daily use, 1.8 consume more fuel compare to my 1.6HS..but for highway use maybe quite same this one i'm agree..the main things is satisfaction! ..as long we enjoys our ride... icon_rolleyes.gif
