Hi guys. I am a newbie and have been reading this forum on a daily basis. I went to test drive the Elantra in Citta Mall during their soft launch and I must say am impressed with the car. Even the 1.6 drive and feel better than your average common 'china man' H&T cars. Don't even talk about the 1.8. I am only dissapointed with the whole package with only 2 airbags, Non HID, Non Folding Side Mirror, Cheap Spare tyre and many more features which should come std with the new generation Korean cars. And it cost a whopping RM96k for the std 1.6!! Compare to the Kia Forte, is peanuts. You should look at the Korean Specs of the Elantra. It even comes with Park Assist, not those normal type but the one that can literally park itself.
Anyway is a good car. I have made the RM500 booking for this car during the soft launch. I opted for the Santorini Blue and the SA in Glenmarie keep insisting got ready stock. But from what I read here, there is no stock. I also think the SA is lying. Anyway hope to meet you guys in future during TT session if any. I am also considering the Kia Optima K5. Cheers |

And i do agree on the features part, ours here are all potonged here and there and if you ask me if there's any disadvantage of Elantra, it would be that.Anyway is a good car. it's your personal planning..
preferably a car loan should not be more than 1000ringgit/month.. anything more feels very luxurious. also this depends on how much you're earning. if you're earning net 2000, but a car 1000.. then you can drink water and eat maggi like me daily .. House +- 30% of your nett income. rest is for your.. life. lol |
