not too poisonous to me, but that's a very nice one, what switch is that one?

Added on May 5, 2012, 3:53 pmAlright! Since I have sold my Filco Blue Switch, I m now putting my Steelseries on sale,
if any one are interested please do not hesitate to ask,
if got friend are interested also can introduce them to see.....
and I put together the PBT keycaps on sale too, in the same tread,
If any one are buying the keycaps alone, they are welcome,
but if who want to buy the keyboard before the keycaps are sold,
they have to buy the keycaps together with it. those are the term.
if you guys think the price are not too good, can suggest also.
anyway, hope I can sell it off, so I can get a ..... you know what.

if it's 300~400 RMB, might as well i get a PLU87 which is USB NKRO sad.gif

found a cheap 7G-ish (without the bigass handrest) keyboard,
http://www.armygroup.com.tw/shop/goods-6446.html

I thought USB nkro version of plu87 is pricier. Also I don't see a reason that 21kro isn't enough, lol...

That isn't ss7g, that is a board by costar, its other clone brothers are tt meka g1, wasd keyboard and even the backlit mionix zibal 60.

the 3496 is made for KBC right? what's the difference between 3494 and 3496? one is made in Germany/Czech and the other in China?
both are NKRO right?  hmm.gif
me also interested  drool.gif  drool.gif

nope, both from Czech. Just that 3496 is having nkro for all switches variants, unlike 3000. The exterior different is lack of cherry logo printing on the case.

Yar, 3494 also nkro, but much pricier.

The bumbung arrived today.

The bird electron roof could fit onto the Poker easily, but seems like this one is a tad oversized.
But anyhoo, the roof from bai was very cheap, and it's good enough for me.

Have not tried it on the HHKB yet.

I think I found it..... was mentioned that they use "membrane"
So it's neither I guess? lol

EDIT: after going through the design etc. I think it's a modified style of rubber dome. Finally got an answer after wondering for so many years lol.
EDIT2: seems like it's similar to topre switch

Maybe I'm a bit harsh but I think he should have used a more refined finish for the wood for the case in the photos. To put it another way, this work is a great idea but it's not the same as an Eric Barney.

you might want to refer to the 1st page for some info related to Topre capacitive switches. smile.gif
AFAIK Microsoft doesn't produce keyboards with capacitive switches like the ones on HHKB and Realforce

Probably a proof of concept on cheaper wood before moving on to more expensive wood.

Are wood supposed to be more expensive than Metal?
I'd pay 160Euros for a metal case, but for wood, I'm not gonna.

rubber dome is also called membrane sometime.
Membrane keyboards may have either design, a whole piece membrane or individual membrane cups.

Need to choose the correct type of tropical wood.
My Grandma's Jati (teak) made cupboard is still holding even though it is already more than 50 years old.

Rubber Dome != Membrane

Model M has a membrane sheet, but it does not have domes
Topre has Rubber domes, but no membrane sheet.

See the diff?
