I don't even have a real Cherry MX board but I was still eyeing the hammer and sickle keycap for a while... crazy to buy a keyboard just to fit caps onto them. So far, I've been pretty good resisting temptation to go into Cherry keyboards. Then again, I've been buying BS keyboards... doh.gif

Compare to BS Keyboards, the Cherry might have too much "Gimmicks" for modding rclxub.gif keycaps is just one of it.

You can mod the hell out of BS if you want to.
Cases, springs, bolt mod, stickers, keycaps, or else, get a NIB M15.

Kaiser, a NIB M15 is like nearly reaching BS nirvana, second only to a NIB Model F AT. I'd actually settle for the M15/M14 that have been on sale on eBay. In fact, the M14 numeric pad is even more enticing that the M15. The price has been prohibitive though... time to work hard so that I find another grateful student. laugh.gif

After my recent "fun" with getting rid of every single bit of rust from the inside of my Model F and painting it, I would appreciate a bit of a break from any serious modding. The result is quite satisfactory though.

Average of 1week time starting from agent placed the order. Can be faster and later.
Shipping within China normally around 1-2days. Transit to Malaysia around 1-2days. Local courier slacking another 1-2days. Subjected to delay especially when met with long holidays... sweat.gif

As for not understanding Chinese part, feel free to ask for help here, we are willing to help. Just roughly tell us what you search for, and we will direct the links to you.

zzz have you not given up on getting from other place than Malaysia?

most of the time I placed order from Cutieangel, seller provide proxy service from Taobao,
just copy the link of the item, paste it on her topic, and question and description of item, color etc, then she will answer you and let you know the pricing very soon, then after you paid her the amount she requested, she will start placing order to the seller in China,

the item(s) usually reach me within 2 weeks, since they place the order for us, and wait the seller to send the item pack in parcel to their collecting center in China, then they will just pack another envelope on the current one, and write your address and send it to you.
for my case of Cutieangel, the item are devided by 1.85, from the price RMB + the shipment in RMB, then charges from China collecting center to Malyasia is RM12 per Kilogram, in which Keyboards are mostly over 1kG with packing, if you do not want the item to damage in the postage, most of the time they mave multiple layers of packing to avoide that. all of my items reach me safely, no damage at all.

just some time the local courier service taking over the item and handle them stupidly, they send to me at the time I m not at home.

They are called KBC engraved black PBT. Made by KBC so it should be cheaper in taobao than GH or any other places.
The price range from around 150RMB+, cause it is PBT, thus much pricier than ABS.

Hmm, for fullset blank black PBT, I can't deny it is indeed a little rare. sweat.gif
But there is easier and nicer(subjective) options out there, blue thick PBT by KBC, check out IMSTO's(in GH) posts for details.

You're not the only one. It timed-out for me. That site has been experiencing networking issues for some time. I never bothered to find out more. I'm guessing DT is enjoying the extra traffic.

I got a bit of a scare once because I thought I lost the PMs from my buyers. But I got everything backed up, so I'm OK now. For me, there cannot be anything worse than losing the orders and people's contact details.
