I'll likely stick with my (3) DT225 trackballs for now, but if I ever need a mouse, that's got to be on the candidate list!

are there group buy for blank keycaps in taobao??
*
Buying things in taobao doesn't need any group buy. You just go search for the things you want, go find a taobao agent in LYN subforum, then pay your money and you are done.

FYI, the ABS blank keycaps will cost around RM30 and shipping probably took another RM10. It is recommended to purchase other misc. along as you had paid for 1kg worth of postage, while the keycap definitely not even reach 500g.

If you want PBT keycaps, it will require some efforts to search for it though. The price is estimated at around RM120+/- IIRC.

Still more like a gimmick to be than real practical...

Mouse switch are normally less than 1mm travel, while cherry's mx switch's travel is minimum 2mm. Not too practical IMO.

LOL, from QTAN...

Seriously, his items all get from China, and his price/postage isn't anywhere cheap either. He is more on doing business on westerner, where they can't or much pricy get stuffs from taobao.

For us, we can get some of those things at almost half of the price if we get it directly from taobao(even count in international shipping + agent's commission, still much cheaper).

P/S: Another seller is feng(in GH). He is from China too IIRC. He also get his stuffs from taobao/China and sell it for profits, but his price is still in the range of acceptable.

P.P/S: I know that sellers sell for profit, but too much profit is simply a rip-off...

Ok. BTW, the cheapest price for them I saw in TB b4 is 100RMB, which translate into around RM60.

BTW, the KBC Rainbow POM is even better looking.

Bro, the thing is made in Japan.

Somemore any man with sense will know that there is practically no market for a not fullsize + plain looking keyboard cost over RM1k in Malaysia...

As long as the keycaps are made for Cherry MX switches and the profile+height are the same. It will fit.

yes, indeed... very low demand here since the key is all too "compact", i can see it's good for typing?
