try aiming for a specific role like damage dealing etc.

mixed build will do ok in casual pve (non dungeon) but in pvp i think specialized builds is better.

Im running very smooth than last Stress Test which is 1 core CPU bound (15~20fps ish).. in BWE2 (40~50fps) my GPU is constantly 50~60% usage.. all my 4 CPU core is on 70~80% usage.. temp is usual if I'm gaming

Running with 1080p all max except shadow on medium..

o they optimized the game already?

i getting 30 - 50 fps in competitive fps
all settings maxed.

What's the usual reading on your CPU and GPU temp while you are gaming.

For Dragon Age 1 and 2 on max graphics settings, I get about 70+ degree celcius for the CPU temp while 80 to 90 for the GPU.

I feel that it is a bit strange in GW2. I place everything on low settings and yet still in the character creation screen, I get about 70 for the CPU temp while 90+ close to 100 for the GPU.
During in game playing, I'm getting 87 to 95 for the CPU while 80 on the GPU.

I just feel that something is not right. I have a 2nd gen I7 processor and ATI 6970M graphics card on my laptop. I think the specs are more than enough even on low graphics settings.

During idle mode (not gaming), CPU is about 50 to 55 degree celcius while GPU is about 55 to 62 degree celcius.

wow thats quite high... well.. me idle both CPU and GPU are about ~40 ish.. when gaming went about ~60ish... gpu a bit higher tho..

maybe heatsinks need a bit cleaning or so? I did cleaning 2 times a month, my house a bit dusty so its easy heatsink got clogged with dust..

feels pretty laggy for me...=(, otherwise, calling this guildwars 2 is really true...doesn't feel like a guildwars 1 game at all...really need a newbies guide to understand and enjoy the game fully...XD

bobohead can teach me how to play engineer? i keep dying at the lvl10 personal quest the one kill the wat frost one.. when he summon elemental i confirm die..

maybe u need level up a bit more.
also, personal quest varies depending on what race / back story u choose.

a human engineer and norn engineer would have very different personal story quest.
even same human engineer with different background will have different personal story.
