is tat 2.0 fc? i ask 1 noob question ya, if a 2.0 car drive at 200km/h 3000 rpm than a 1.6 car driving 200km/h at 4000rpm, means the 2.0L car save more petrol? this is what normal ppl will say..

agree. why not just practise 1st come 1st serve. if colour is an issue, so why we need to choose colour when making a booking during pre launch period although cant see a real colour on car. even in brochure. why?

Doesn't it depend on the efficiency curve though? As in, what's the level that the car will deliver the best amount of torque at the rpm it produces? Lower rpm doesn't necessarily yield a better Fuel Efficiency.

that would mean,

2.0 engine running at 3000RPM = 6 intake stroke per second
1.6 engine running at 4000RPM = 8 intake stroke per second

so unless we know how much fuel is required for every intake stroke for both engine, we can never know which engine is more fuel efficient at that speed & rpm & not to forget cd value & weight also play major factor to this question

I believe it is still first come first serve basis. What ever we say over here about the cable,fiber optic, Tan Sri etc are mere hearsay and speculation, nothing more.

As I said previously, maybe the reason somebody got their car early because someone let go the car. I've given my example where I let go the car and someone down the line got it since he wanted the same colour. There is not cable, connection or Tan Sri here.

Regarding the production, I strongly believe the painting process goes batch by batch. Once setting is for black, Proton will produce a lot of blacks (more than the demand) before changing the colours. Proton can't simply change the colour setting between cars. They have to change between certain lot number.

This is happen to all other manufacturers. Last time, I've visited BMW factory at Munchen, they are doing the same for the painting procedure.

That is the reason some SAs will say, if you want to get cars quickly, don't specify the colour. In this case, whenever they have colour that doesnt belong to anyone, you can take the car.

i think it depends also.. but mostly car fuel efficiency is highest around 80-100km/h according to some equation, so i also think high speed but low rpm means lower FC but alot of ppl owes say like tat, i felt like they are no brainer

i look for 3 SA ... 1st SA in ayer item also told me cant have cash rebate.... then i go to Greenlane .... then they gave me RM 500 plus tint vouncher, full tank, steer lock, sandblass... i tried to ask for smarttag.. but failed.. lol

The main problem is Proton did not anticipate the high number of bookings. They should have known better. Sudden spike in demand, and they can't meet it. Very poor prep imo. The S&M team should have a circular to all branches and dealers stating that there will be delays. Instruct all SA's to get in touch with their respective clients mentioning that there will be delays. With a valid reason. Not just keep mum and keep everyone on edge.

They don't have to rush the production. They should have anticipated the market better (heck, send someone into forums like this to gauge the market). Failing which, they should have kept all prospective buyers, and more importantly, pre-bookers in the loop.

Above all, the should value us pre-bookers because we are their vanguard. How many flames have we quelled? How many unbelievers have we turned? Instead of prioritising the pre-bookers, they lump us together with the others.

Tell me then, what's the point of us pre-booking the car, if we aren't able to get it sooner? I don't give two fucuks if some dato/tan sri/tun gets the car first due to connections. What I wanna know is, what the heck is the bloody delay, and why aren't we being updated. Don't blame the SA - blame the people who should have given them training.

Pre-bookers mostly decided to put their faith in Proton - again. Don't let that faith waver. I'm beginning to wonder if it's even worth it anymore. A good car is one thing - horrible service is another.

totally agreed need to give us some valid reason on delay. u ppl so nice, got proton edar branch over there... here all is dealer, all get car from EON... alot of saga flx in the showroom lo... but why they make so many but no ppl buy lol..
