Soft gathering TT means for those who get their cars already and for those who mostly haven't yet. From the TT, you are able to listen to the owner's feedbacks and so on.
are you up for it?

BLUE IS NICER!
C'mon man, free teh tarik ftw!QUOTE(Junn @ May 2 2012, 11:10 AM)
IMHO it's pretty good, it's warm if you put your hand at the window.
The only downside is it's pretty clear from outside, so don't go smooching people in the car
So heat rejection is good, but in terms of visibility, can't really do the nasty in the car lah. Demmit. There goes my plans

Push? I cant see any significant increase in car delivery as of now. Even in this forum, for those who pre-book the car that actually got their car by now can be count by fingers..
My patience is going thin from day to day since my SA also keep quiet..haihh
Same here. Just got in touch with my SA - he said everything is in progress. Proton really messed up the delivery this time round la. Considering your car now...but no offence - I just can't take the centre console. It's too...ergh. Really can't take it.

Yupp..that's correct. In this case i believe, impatience is not an issue if proton deliver the car according to the first come first serve basis..but unfortunately, the late come first serve basis also applies

This will creates displeasure & impatience for the early birds

I pre-booked the car during Proton power of 1 and Bukit Jalil...and I theoretically I got the car already, but I let go the car to someone else.
I think the delay is expected and I don't think Proton will setup additional production line for the initial surge. They as other manufacturing company will have projection and estimation before setting up the production line. Unless they underestimate the response. Furthermore it is not good to rush the production beyond their limit. I believe they have target time for a single car and to its not wise to reduce the target time as it will jeopardize the quality aspect.
The main problem is Proton did not anticipate the high number of bookings. They should have known better. Sudden spike in demand, and they can't meet it. Very poor prep imo. The S&M team should have a circular to all branches and dealers stating that there will be delays. Instruct all SA's to get in touch with their respective clients mentioning that there will be delays. With a valid reason. Not just keep mum and keep everyone on edge.
They don't have to rush the production. They should have anticipated the market better (heck, send someone into forums like this to gauge the market). Failing which, they should have kept all prospective buyers, and more importantly, pre-bookers in the loop.
Above all, the should value us pre-bookers because we are their vanguard. How many flames have we quelled? How many unbelievers have we turned? Instead of prioritising the pre-bookers, they lump us together with the others.
Tell me then, what's the point of us pre-booking the car, if we aren't able to get it sooner? I don't give two fucuks if some dato/tan sri/tun gets the car first due to connections. What I wanna know is, what the heck is the bloody delay, and why aren't we being updated. Don't blame the SA - blame the people who should have given them training.
Pre-bookers mostly decided to put their faith in Proton - again. Don't let that faith waver. I'm beginning to wonder if it's even worth it anymore. A good car is one thing - horrible service is another.
My faith is wavering.

K. Rant mode off. God. I'm still annoyed though.

30/04/12 at Proton Edar, Jalan Ampang. My SA told me, need to wait 1-2 month for this car.
If booking via dealer, sure take long time compare to booking via Proton Edar branch.
So the Jalan Ampang one is dealer then? Did you get any freebies? I almost made my booking there, but the guy was kinda lansi-ish. Decided against it.

EDIT: OMG. Just got another text from my SA. Why the heck is getting a loan so hard back in Malaysia? Dammit. Things were so much easier back in UK. Can I use my credit history there to get me a god damned loan here? Bloody hell. No wonder people who come back wanna ciao like they got their assess on fire. Fuming. Fucuk this shit man. What the hell. Haih.
