Oh mai - - what have they done to the Call of Duty series? This is a huge risk, but potentially from the looks of the trailer, my hopes have diminished. Robots, mechs, flying machines, horse-riding?

And for goodness sake it is the same old game engine that creaks... expect another mass negative rating on Metacritic this November.

Dissapointed.

Not so much of a huge risk, in my opinion. The futuristic setting is quite new and attracts many people i guess. Especially its Call of Duty series.

But the fact that its still using the same old engine, the game looks quite terrible lol.

It's a risk for the series as there has never been anything 'past' "Modern Warfare" timeline. BF tried it with BF2142 but didn't work out. The trailer did little to excite me. In fact, at this point I am most looking forward to see what "MoH Warfighter" can bring. And yes, the game engine is another reason to cringe... for yet another year. Treyarch has pushed themselves too far, and "Black Ops" remains in my opinion the peak of the CoD series. We will see how this one turns out, but for now, I tag it as a disappointment.

LOL i wondered why they never upgrade the game engine?? Unlike other games like Far Cry.. MOH WF.. Crysis 3..

And BO2 must be a future warfare or something like that... Everything looks so futuristic...

they keep updating game engine but they never putting any feature on it for gameplay purpose except upgraded textures but still looks outdated. all for scripted event only....

Do note that Infinity Ward (or whatever they are called now) has been working on a non-CoD IP since they departed with Activison. That, is of great hopes it will be an awesome game, whether an fps game or not.

BO2 trailer was released what a day or two ago... and the number of dislikes on Youtube is alarmingly shocking with an almost all out barrage on "I'm not going to spend my money on yet another Activision annual profit increase"

Yeah, right. On the day of launch expect to see a long line outside stores. But who knows, this could just be the first major CoD flop.

I'm hoping they really fix their sh-t up, not like Black Ops, even with minimal graphics setting I still can't get proper fps, as in, if I look at area A, it'll be 60fps, if I look at area B, it'll be 10fps. And smoke/heavy graphic in area B? nope, none.

yup, and black ops is a really bad port. i try play zombies, and its like im in a fishbowl.

Let's see how Blops2 fare this time I'll consider buying one for myself provided Steam effing ban those cheaters. MW3 is such a big fail.

black ops used upgraded engine dude, you will notice the difference in game lightning and shadow. BO2 developer realised that graphic phenomenal in gaming is importance nowadays. This a huge leap in COD series when futuristic element added in BO2 which intriguing most of the player, including non COD player.

But lets face it, the graphic "improvements" are not that significant. To give you an COD example, try comparing COD1 and COD2. Now that is what I call graphic improvement.

Previous FPS did future warfare before like BF2142, so I doubt they will be able to attract new non-CoD players easily.

how about you comparing Counter Strike with COD BO, any significant?

This was the E3 gameplay released a week ago.

I almost fell asleep watching it.

Yeap, to be honest, it is boring.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 gameplay at E3 is like mostly BROWN in colour.

Jet mission is like plagiarized from Battlefield 3.



I find it boring probably because I actually watched Crysis 3, Watch Dog, MoH Warfighter before watching Black Ops 2. Graphics are quite terrible and the thing that bores me the most: Dull gameplay with BROWN environment.

I'd give 6.5 out of 10.
Need something even more thrilling and epic.

The only epic part was the part where the dude fell down from the bridge after tying the rope to the cracked road, and when he fell to the ground, the car crashed to the ground right next to him. @__@

Hmm... 4 separate teams, but you choose which team you want to work together and then finally (if it comes to it) choose to kill the other team's players until your team stands. Very, very interesting. I am not sure any other MP has done this? So freaking cool to choose who to work with and then decide who to finish off.

But treyach super bias wei doing the server system so many servers not even 1 server for SG or MY always ping like 200+
They promised that they might make SG server but tht was 2 years ago... Hope they fixed it in Black Ops 2

Actually like tht de many games play always populated with EU servers making us Asians lag

maybe the only thing enjoyable here is the tech that the player will be able to experience IMO.

the deluxe edition is not worth it for zombies alone..theres other features like call of duty 5 : WAW, the soundtrack from trent reznor, some exclusive multiplayer stuff and more.

haha true true i feel like PC version kinda rip off... for the same price PS3 get coins, steelbook and same stuffs as PC

me too BO2 8.5 GB, BO2 ZM 4.3 GB, BO2 MP 1.7 GB. Combined the whole game is 14.5 GB, now that's a damm huge game.

not as big as max payne 3..30 gb

if buy physical copy of BO2 from retailers , can it be activated on steam and play on steam servers or must i buy BO2 from steam to play on their servers?

black ops 2 is a steamworks title, so it must be activated on steam.
