Guys,

My top consideration hotel right now:

1. Andaman - RM900++
2. The Datai - RM1000++
3. Four Season - RM1400++  T-T
What your opinion?
If I wear swimwear, would people stare with me?
Do they have alot of people in swimwear (bikini) at pool?
I yes, can easily blend in.
*
if that is your only concern then i guess all 3 wouldn't have that issue.. but andaman and datai are really secluded

Im going to Langkawi next week for 3D2N. Going there with a 3 years old.

What are the places and attractions that is suitable for kids? I googled found out kind of limited. I would like to let my kid to play n enjoy during the daytime till he is really tired so that he can easily dozed off. This is his first time going for holiday and might have difficulties to put him to sleep at night.

Also, please recommend nice restaurants to visit in Langkawi, preferable Chinese or non-spicy foods.

For kids:

Can also consider:

Can try Wonderland seafood for chinese food

QUOTE(bluesavana @ Jun 28 2015, 07:34 PM)
hi, wanna ask where to buy ticket for the mangrove tour? Is it at the Kilim Jetty (N6 24.306 E99 51.505  near Kampung Kilim) or at the Tanjung Rhu area? If both area also can get tickets, where would be your recommendation?  Preferably the one with the cheapest rate on boat-sharing basis as there are only 3 of us in a group.

And in earlier pages, it was mentioned that the tour operators do not entertain boat-sharing in the afternoon, thus one must charter an entire boat. Is this true?

Tks
*
you can get it from the kuah jetty or at your hotel if they have it on offer. not really.. they will probably fit other visitors with you as well to fill the whole boat.

Does anyone know the limit of chocolates can be purchased from Langkawi? Or the limit only for Liquor and Tobacco?

I plan to get quite alot of variety chocolates for wedding gifts for guests. (might be around 2-3k)
*
not much of an issue.. just remove the boxes la.. otherwise the customs may question you.. thinking u plan to sell off..

Well if it's too cheap I am scared also. Not sure if they add anything inside or maybe the alcohol had been tampered with. Unless you personally know the seller.
