I personally think STEAM should just disable the Profile name changing, and just solely stick to Steam ID as our name, all these crap issue wont be happening.
Who the heck need to keep changing their profile name anyway, kinda pointless
And charge people each time they want to change their nick like what Blizzard is doing? No thanks.

While I do admit that it's a bit frustrating to see weird nicks in my Steam friends' list, I'm glad that Steam actually have the courtesty in providing us the ability to check the past alias that they used, which helps a lot when it comes to identifying who's who.

Added on June 14, 2012, 9:10 pmwell if u specify the name despite being ur friend. U can state Clearly that it is his imposer.

At least it helps a bit to add more awareness to careless steam user. No offense to the real Alone + target tho I am not against u.
Again no. It's been a norm for lowyat.net forum users to either fast-read (me being optimistic) or intentionally miss out the vital points in the message to make it flame-able (me being pessimistic). INMO, he did the right thing to filter out the nick instead of revealing it out right.
This is the Internet after all & one thing lead to another before hakimix starts receiving death threats from all the scam victims out there.
