QUOTE(FormalCat @ Apr 27 2012, 12:25 PM) theres a reason its so cooooldbecause its never meant to be put into a sedan....thats why its sucking away so much power the A/C if not wrong are meant to be put in lorry and bus.....thn they put that in a small sedan...thats why its extremely cold |

QUOTE(MR_alien @ Apr 27 2012, 12:21 PM) underpower proton....it actually doesn't mean the engine is underpower its actually the A/C that is making the car underpower because when the compressor kick in, it take away quite an amount of torque but that only applies to 1.3L at lower RPM 1.6L should be fine and 1.6 CFE should be fine and another issue is the GB...last time the 4AT cannot change ratio...also contribute to the underpower/slow pickup/high FC thats why they switched to CVT engine no power, blame aircon, blame gearbox. the rest of the car no aircon and gearbox? should i put it this way, proton engine so underpower, put in an aircon and the car barely moves, correct? myvi no aircon, viva no aircon? your whole argument above = proton engine underpower la. BUT, turbo solved it all |

QUOTE(MR_alien @ Apr 27 2012, 12:25 PM) newer gen proton(from saga BLM)..should be stable even at 150-160KM/H reason?...thats the reason they uses HTS on the body and ppl always complain why lotus ride and handling, the steering so "hard"(if u jump from T,p2) because its meant to be that way....when you're cruising at high speed, hard steering helps....u can just basically use 1 hand to control like european car japanese car...since steering so soft, need to grab the steering using 2 hand...and hold it tight like its going to lose control anytime unfortunately produa also very soft. kancil & myvi |

QUOTE(MR_alien @ Apr 27 2012, 12:32 PM) that becuz they have T's DNA er... but for some reason i feel very comfy driving Innova and T's steering is extremely soft....u try driving over 100KM/H, u would have to hold tight i saw T driver...even 60KM/H also hold tight using 2 hand already but crv stream also abit soft lah, not to my liking |

QUOTE(FormalCat @ Apr 27 2012, 12:38 PM) Both of you have a point la. He has a point in the sense proton air cond takes a lot out of the engine. You can't really compare proton to myvi air cond because myvi air cond doesn't take as much as proton. Myvi air cond sucks. If I had a choice to make it more powerful I'd take that option. this means proton R&D should shoot themselves la.But you have a point too the engine is definitely underpowered, but don't have to write him off like that. Have to be objective. Both of you have points. they dunno the air con suck too much power? or they dunno the engine no power? like ppl tell you, malaysia car price not high, its just becos your income is low. how would you think of this kind of statement? twist and turn at its best. BUT, turbo solved it all. |
