Bro, remember, last case, Lelong at least compensate their buyer that got conned. At least Lelong give what their promise. I believe others like Mudah will simply wash hands oni. I was kena before from Mudah, the seller runaway I report to who? Mudah don't care, they don't have BPP or something.

As I was attended their free training class before from Lelong. Yes I was meet them face to face and they mention to me they have no insurance panel to back them up. All the money compensation is from their pocket. They said the all new BPP will launch back within this month, they trying to find way protect buyer n seller with their new payment gateway (Netpay as billytattertons said)

Something like paypal like what ebay did, at least more safer between both side.

ya, lelong did compensate the victims but not everyone, and not for full amount.
i feel sad about your mudah case, but for this BPP, lelong set the terms themselves, set the schedule themselves, but they cant even follow them strictly! not to mention, their response was way too slumber!
they have something call safe trade, but they do not impose that for every transaction, i wonder why?
about the insurance, if they dun have an insurance, why not they buy one?

i think those victims who did file a BPP claim before can tell you how frustrated they (including me) are! they only will reply your email if they feel like they want to. they din take initiative to reply your email if there is any development! they are a lot of terms for that RM1k of compensation, for example, maximum 3 claims per buyer per non-related seller, next per transaction, you only can claim 1 item.
just think about it, the BPP is so unfriendly, but they market it to make it looks like the buyers are protected.
now they wana revise it, i dun think it will be any better.

I wonder why Lelong wants to do such losing business?
Without any payment from either buyer/seller it would be suicide when con case happens.

I thought the safe trade would be the best option?

find a panel insurance that accepts insurance fees for every transaction from the buyer for every trade and handle claims.
or else they can set up a compensation fund for fraud case victim and for every transaction a small amount is being charged for that fund (eg. 1% per transaction).
buyer will gladly pay the small sum for peace of mind.

I never aware KSWEI can talk like that. He is no longer having full authorised on his company when he has some partners inside.

About Safetrade, this is the best option. So far all the fraud attempts never happened except fishy buyers doing trick which usually don't work.

BPP program relaunched back.

Please be updated, Lelong never cancel BPP program without notice.
For your information, We're in the midst of revising the program. Sure an announcement will be made once Lelong made any changes.

Plus, We do sent emails (twice) to all Sellers before the BPP badge been removed from the store page.

Thus, hope it's clear enough.

Thanks for your concern.

Regards,
FB Admin.
