BEWARE!! lelong.my cancel Buyer Protection Program without notice & delete my facebook comment at their wall regarding this issue!!

Due to the recent seemed to be reputable Qiling's con case, lelong had make a lot of compensation to victims, some victims receive a full refund from lelong, while some receive partial refund...

And recently when i want to make a purchase on lelong.my, i want to check whether the store i purchase my item from belongs to the Buyer Protection Program list..
But to my surprise, the BPP page is GONE!!!

www.lelong.com.my/bpp/

It is supposed to be as follow:
http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/sear...n&ct=clnk&gl=my

List of BPP seller have no results too!!
http://www.lelong.com.my/promo/stores/brow...=Apply&Type=BPP

I have highlights this issue at their facebook wall and tell them they should not be cancelling Buyer Protection Program without any notice to the buyer...
I'm expecting their reply...
and guess what????????
THEY DELETED MY POST/COMMENT today!!!
this is totally unacceptable behavior!

Lelong! if you continue doing this....NO one will prefer to buy things from your website anymore!!
Even their highly reputable store member (Eg. Qiling) can be a conman!
Which is the reason why lelong silently cancelling the BPP.

"please be informed there is no deletion activity in Lelong Facebook by Admin today. Admin will always try to respond and be as negotiable as can, at the best time effort. Admin will only Hide comments/posting if the comments sounds doesn't related to the posting. Or in some serious cases where the comments/posting are such spamming our wall, then Admin will Block the User.

Regarding the BPP, please be updated BPP is not been cancelled but it just been in the midst of revising of the program and for your information, all Sellers that have BPP also should been received twice emails as notifications from Us. Any misconducting during this period is totally regret.

Hope you could understand. Thanks for your continuous supports."

dis will definitely damage lelong's credibility... or not...

people will just use mudah anyways..
*
exactly...
it's lelong their rights to cancel this buyer protection program..after major compensation to buyers due to a verified store member with numerous good ratings turned to be a conman...
but please at least post an announcement, they afraid buyers know they are cancelling this BPP..

and the way they handle buyer's complain ie. deleting facebook post/comment is just awful! whistling.gif

Oh i thought its same lolz..

So how does BPP works?
*
BPP is like a protection offer by lelong to the buyer...
means there is a list of BPP certified seller....which must be reputable store member...
and if anything goes wrong and the seller turned out to be conman, lelong will compensate your lost...
provided that you can product the proof of purchase.

I wonder why Lelong wants to do such losing business?
Without any payment from either buyer/seller it would be suicide when con case happens.

I thought the safe trade would be the best option?

find a panel insurance that accepts insurance fees for every transaction from the buyer for every trade and handle claims.
or else they can set up a compensation fund for fraud case victim and for every transaction a small amount is being charged for that fund (eg. 1% per transaction).
buyer will gladly pay the small sum for peace of mind.
