Fiber installer said im the first house to instal maxis home fiber 10mb in my jalan. Already used 6 days, so far the speed is damn fast, can watch youtube 1080p hd video smoothly on Tv. Hd video streaming buffering is history now.
The Thomson wifi router is problematic and very weak signal though.
Can't connect the voip line to home alarm system. Now looking for a gsm modem to work around it.

where i can get cheap passport taken in puchong ?

I want to take it within minutes and softcopy given as well

tq
*
If you already have an existing soft copy, resize it to 3.5cm x 5cm each and copy and patse 4 copies onto a A6 photo paper size template then print it out as normal photo print at any DIY photo printing kiosk. Harvey Norman charge 60 sen per A6 print.

Photo shop usually charge premium price around rm10 or more for 4 pcs passport size print.

Haha.. Nowadays, I do use this way. Down the ramp from Puchong towards Kesas-Seri Petaling and up again using the exit 511b as mentioned earlier by idoblu  rclxms.gif

Still lotsa ppl dunno this way and yeah...shhhhh.. otherwise this also jam...well, I think certain ppl still will not use this bcos one big detour  biggrin.gif
*
That will be an extra of:

2.6KM distance
3 min time
65sen petrol cost
18sen car maintenance cost

As compare to stuck in the U-turn traffic:

XX min time.
XX sen engine idling petrol waste.

Can some one fill up the "XX" ?

Maxis call me just now say want to install Home Fibre in my place liao.  Anyone here got feedback on Home Fibre in the Puchong area?  reliable? fast? good service?
*
Being using it since July. Not so reliable but fast. Dect phone also problematic. Watch YouTube HD on my tv smooth smooth no buffering, very shiok.
I think still worth to proceed if your package is rm118pm with more free minutes. New package not worth it any more.

*
To confirm, call TM 100 and ask your house address go unifi or not. If not covered, then the instalation call from maxis is tipu punya la.

Can post any of the Maxis 10mbps speedtest kah.. I also wanna jump ship from TM Unifi 5mbps liao.. no pont subscribing at RM149 wth 5mbps lower and not watchiong any of channels at all
*
If you jump ship now at RM138 per month (For Maxis Postpaid customer only), I think no so worth it. Because Unifi give you a free dedicated 8mbps IPTV line and the TV Box got YouTube interactive channel and you can watch 1080 HD video from YouTube. Maxis Home Fiber need to pay for IPTV service.
I aborted my plan to upgrade my existing Astro to Beyond now because now I can watch thousands of 1080 HD video using a 3 party media player with built-in YouTube App.

I went to Tesco Pusat Bandar puchong yesterday and saw Samsung occupied and renovated a space of its own in the electrical dept. A new mobile phone dept is pending opening.
Based on these latest developments, I think Tesco pbp is staying put.

Just to share something I encountered twice at mamat restaurants in puchong.
Let's say the food is rm12.50 and you pay the bill with a rm50 note.
Some cashiers intentionally give you the change in two separate payments. He will give you the rm7.50 first then pause for a while waiting for your reaction. If you take the money and turn away then he will pocket the balance of rm30. If you still standing there for the balance, only then he give you the rm30 balance.
I kena once, learned the lesson and prevented an unsuccessful second attempt to trick me at another mamat restaurant.

Those mamak are getting very cunning.... such a dishonest act.
Which Mamak Restaurant ?
*
First one kena cheated RM30 was at corner lot mamat just opposite Sutramas Apt.
http://wikimapia.org/#lat=3.0422168&lon=10...=18&l=0&m=s&v=9

Second (failed attempt) was at Rishad, BK.

You guys can test the mamat restaurant by giving RM50 for a RM1x bill. if the cashier split the change to two "installment", then the cashier is trying to play a trick on u. Try walk away a little after the first "installment" to see whether the cashier call you for the balance or not. brows.gif
